Hotel GIT Ciudad de Zaragoza

A good well designed modern Holiday Inn Express hotel. On the edge of the city but not a problem if driving. That said the charge for the car park might be seen as excessive and unlike UK and US Holiday Inn Express Hotels, the Internet is not free (and is in fact quite expensive) - seems like some Spanish hotels have not worked out that charging rip-off prices for Internet access discourages people from visiting again.

Great reception and very helpful - I was told that I would be allowed a late check out at 2pm as a Priority Club member which was great. However, I got a call at 12:30 the next day telling me to vacate the room!!

Given the good modern design of the hotel, the restaurant on the ground floor which is a separate business is all old fashioned wood style compared to the industrial metal design of the hotel - I reckon the designer must be horrified at the tasteless result.

We were a little wary to reserve this room because of the Google Earth Street View images that show a somewhat run down industrial park area. However, the industrial park is being taken over by the growing city of Zaragoza and the area was really fine. The rooms was one of the cleanest I´ve ever come across. The desk clerks were all very efficient and helpful. The breakfast buffet was standard, but everything was fresh and plentiful. The parking garage was a big plus. The hotel is on the more residential side of the Ebro River so you´ll need to use public transportation (bus stop 3-4 min from hotel) , taxis or your own car to go to the center.

Stayed here as wanted to visit the Expo 2008.
The hotel is not in a good location - it is on a fairly busy road in what can only be described as an ugly industrial estate! The walk into the city centre takes about an hour (to expo even longer) and passes some areas that are 'edgy'. That said, the hotel is adequate - rooms are clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was fine. I just wish I had spent my 288 Euros for one person/two nights on something more central!

stayed at this hotel on a stopover both ways to and from valencia. Used reward points for both stays.
A bit out of the way but took a 5 minute taxi ride to the central shopping area which was excellent.
Breakfast was very good for a continental one and is included in room price.
Very modern, comfortable and clean rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Would stay again if a stopover was necessary.
