Cervino isn't in the city centre but if you're visiting Aljaferia Palace you should drop by and have some tapas and wine in this small bar. If you're lucky the bar owner, Juan, will be there to recommend the specialties of the week. It is super clean and it offers a wide variety of tapas and raciones which are better cooked than many of the ones you'll find in the centre. And well priced! Try the calamari, the patatas bravas, the numerous "bocadillos" offered in their menu, their toasts with toppings which will make your mouth water. And if you like wine, Cervino has a huge selection too. The bar has won several awards for "best lamb bocadillo of the year" or "best tapa" in the annual competitions which take place in town and it's also raised money for charity. It is a classic in the Almozara area, an authentic place to get to try local produce. Go earlish because it gets packed at 9 pm and it's not a big bar.
