been there for the second time. nice city with lots to see, great tapas place

best view from selected rooms, as you feel as touch the 2.bigest cathedral of spain! the extra for the view is littel for what you get. very helpful staff, can also preorder some cava to the room.

modern furnished, not very spacy but ok. big confortable bed

    Room Tip: take the view!

This hotel has the best location in Zaragoza... on the Plaza del Pilar overlooking the Basilica.Interior design is quite funky and modern but in need of a bit of TLC.Unfortunately no bar or restaurant but there are plenty to choose from in the immediate vicinity. We spent a very pleasant evening with a meal & wine watching Spanish Life unfolding in front of us.
We were driving and used the " Ayuntamiento" public car park opposite the hotel which was easy to find and you get a discount as a hotel guest.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for a room with a balcony(small) overlooking the plaza.

A tiny room the size of my bathroom, next to the elevator which banged all night. The staff seemed unconcerned about my comfort or the fact that I did not sleep at all. The only plus is the view of the cathedral. Too expensive and too much attitude here!

This hotel is located right across from the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar and there is a great view of it and the public square from the balconies of the rooms facing this direction.

By the same token, the hotel is very difficult to find , especially if you are driving because there is no direct access to the front. There is a public carpark just beside it, so you have to drag your luggage a short distance away, depending on where you park. The carpark is not very pleasant, it is dark and dingy and reeks of urine smell.

There was a huge celebration at the basilica during the time we were there, so it was quite crowded. At other times, if it is quieter, I might be a little wary about security in the basement carpark.

The hotel is pleasant but basic. There is a lot of wall painted "artwork", like one of the "art hotels" in Berlin, but that is only in the common areas - corridors and staircases.

Once inside the rooms, it is very basic. Although clean and comfortable, there isn't even a bench to place your luggage, and the wall bracketed tablet hardly qualifies as a proper table to do any writing on.

I have no complaints about the location though, the shops and restaurants are just downstairs and around the corner. The area around the hotel is very busy in the evening, packed with tapas bars and a very good churasteria that serves wonderful churros and chocolate. And all the attractions that you need to visit in Zaragoza are within walking distance.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a view of the basilica

Besides the fantastic view of the basilica from the room, everything else about this hotel was crap. Bathroom was clogged the first night, the receptionist came up and said it was too late to fix and apparently there were no rooms to change. On the following morning, we saw so many empty rooms in the hotel at 9am, the guests couldn't all possibly checked out so early. Anyway we got a new room and the staff were not friendly at all when asked to show how the new room shower worked. It was as if it was our fault we asked for a room change! The shower area was not clean too, mattress was crap you could feel the spring. Avoid at all cost
