“WOW what a great place for history”

i stayed in zaragoza for three days and i wish i could have stay longer there's so much history . Caesar Augustus found this city in the end of the 1st century. there's lots to see and explore from the Roman Theater to the Pilar to the Aljaferia Palace and the Armijo Palace
to the Museo de zaragoza ...what a great place to visit

“Historical Including Art”

The museum had a diverse collection. Very historical for the area dating back to Roman times. There was nice artwork exhibited.

“Roman mosaics”

On the ground floor there is a very interesting collection of Roman artefacts. Especially the mosaics are interesting.

“Nice museum”

This museum is free to the public and has 2 main themes:
First, the focus is on the Roman history of the region. There are many nice mosaics, some sculptures and some smaller pieces of pottery, jewelry and tools. The mosaic pieces were impressive in their detail and workmanship.
The second part of the museum focuses on artists that painted in Zaragoza, especially Goya. Some impressive paintings are here including some previously in the Prada Museum in Madrid.
All in all, you can't beat the deal for an hour or two...

The works in the street have been finished, so, you are able to park already the car in front of the main entrance.
