the apartment is fantastic. it is very nice designed and you feel confortable at the first time. Without doubt is the best option for families or couples. Im quite sure that you be no able to find better localitation, just in front to the Pilar Cathedral. You will enjoy it.

Dear guest from the UK! Thank you for your help in sharing such good opinion of our apartments with the rest of the travelers. Hope you can come and visit us again in the future to sunny Zaragoza, far away from always rainy UK. It rarely rains in our city and perfect place to enjoy the sun among other interesting things :-) Hello to all our British friends and guests. Kind regards, Isabel and all the Sabinas team.

All reviews turned out to be true. Clean and nice rooms. If the rooms faces the street it might be a bit noisy till 10pm. Location is indeed top central. The cathedral bells are not soooo loud as some people stated in the reviews.
Very good value for the money.

Room Tip: Try to ask for room that is not facing to the street.

Booked this place solely on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews. What a lesson for us - this is the first time we are very disappointed with a hotel that's so well rated on TA. Yes, the location is just about perfect, merely steps away from the magnificent cathedral. But the set-up is a bit strange in that you need to check in at another hotel about 400 meters away (hotel Sauce). More importantly, the room we were given was absolutely nothing to write home about. It looked like it had been only partly renovated. The beds were clean but overall room cleanliness was so and so at best. Plus we had a view of nothing. A bit dark and depressive. Wifi didn't work at all, even after reporting the problem. Fortunately, Zaragoza has much to offer and we took it in stride knowing that we at least had a clean bed!

Room Tip: Insist on a room that offers some kind of view, ideally facing the cathedral

Before i start, i will say to those that drive into zaragoza, i think zaragoza translates from spanish to "city of traffic lights" i will say it is crazy! The traffic lightbulb change man must be smashing the overtime in!
Anyways....the studios/apartments....as title: great! Central location, clean and relatively modern, and superb value. We had a twin, it had a sofa, fridge and tv at one end, two beds and another large tv with aircon at the other, the bathroom was large and modern with a walk in shower and drench head, apartments have free wi-fi, and there is also a lift in the apartments. The reception staff were great; polite, efficient and helpfull. We didnt bother with breakfast, as there was a cafe just down from the hotel which was cheap as chips!
I really liked zaragoza, it was a spacious clean and modern city, with what seemed like bars and resteraunts/cafes on every street. There is a beautiful cathedral within view from the room we were in. Im sure it has lots to offer, but we had limited time there as it was only a night stop to get back to the uk.
Having had purely spanish cusine for 2 weeks, we fancied a change from tapas and the likes, so we went to a place called sakura, a sushi/chinese buffet type place it was €15 per person, it was quite weird, as it had some spanish tapas on offer as well as sushi. If your a seafood lover, i would go here. You pick your raw food, the had clams, mussels, prawns, squid, octopus, cuttle fish, oysters, razor clams, as well as meats and veg, you then take your plate to the chef, who cooks it for you, i would bet you a bottle of san miguel that you couldnt find better value!
Enjoy, and dont forget to check the traffic light situation out!

Dear guests! What a funny anecdote and story about the traffic lights!! :-) Thank you for your sense of humor :-) It is very interesting to see other points of view and experiences from other people, because if you don´t travel much, you are not aware that things are different in other parts of the world, for example it seems that traffic lights are invading Zaragoza. ha ha ha. Thank you for your enriching opinion. And anyway, we are very grateful you cosider our apartments a great and brilliant choice. Kind regards, Isabel and the Sabinas Team.

We were travelling to southern Spain with our two small grand children and wanted a city centre location, in this case near the Cathedral in Zaragoza which was the focus of our visit. New to Trip Advisor and certainly new to booking on line I was a little nervous and sent many e mails to the very patient staff in the Hotel which owns this small block of lovely apartments. Hotel Sauce proved to be easy to find with a sat nav and we parked outside whilst we off loaded numerous bags and fluffy toys. We were taken to the underground car park which was opposite the hotel, and then walked around the corner to the small block of apartments. Our apartment was situated over two floors with our own front door, and the children were thrilled to find that they had their own stair case. The decor was modern and chic, the rooms very clean and the bathrooms (ours was a wet room) were spacious and well equipped. They had electric shutters which ensured not too early a start in the morning too. The view of the Basilica filled the windows and was unbelievably beautiful at night when it was illuminated. There were numerous bars and restaurants around the corner, and, I was told by Henry the best ice cream shop in the world! Don't miss the Museum at one end of the Basilica 'square' which housed part of the original Roman fabric of this lovely city - imaginatively presented and free to OAPs and children!

Room Tip: Just ask for a room with a view and nothing else will seem important!

Dear friends and guest from Wales, yes, you reserved the family room that consists of a double room and a twin room both with their own bathroom and connected through a stair case. It is perfect for families with children. And as you say, we can provide you with all the information you may need via e-mail and help you plan your visit beforehand prior to your arrival to Zaragoza and once you arrive to our city, at hotel Sauce we will give you assistance and help with anything you may need during your stay: tips, recommendations of places to eat or visit. We want you to feel as if you were in your own home.
Hope to see you again very soon. Best regards, Isabel and all the Hotel Sauce and Sabinas Team.

We were driving from Santander to somewhere near Alicante, so wanted to break the journey. We decided on Zaragoza (top tip: Zaragoza is brilliant!) and found these apartments online. Arriving pretty frazzled (we have two young children 5 and 2.5, it had been a five hour drive) in Zaragoza, navigating via satnav and not the best of maps, we parked in the underground carpark that appeared closest. Then wandered out into the joy that is Zaragoza! Found the hotel we needed to book in at just round the corner (Hotel Sauce, I applaud your customer care by the way, emails reassuring us that it woukd be OK to arrive seriously late). Then off to the apartments. We'd booked two interconnecting ones. I have to say I was pretty impressed. The decor is excellent, the bathrooms are very beautifully appointed. The views from the windows? Woweee! The location is incredible! I can't believe there are many places with such an amazing position. Photos taken from the windows look like picture postcards of Zaragoza.
It was a real pleasure staying here.
We even discovered the carpark we'd parked in was the one they had arranged a discount scheme with.
It was that sort of trip.
We ended up sitting, at midnight, sipping a beer and watching our daughter dance in a fountain under the gaze of Goya...
Thank you, Apartamentoes Sabinas Bayeu for an unforgettable couple of nights.
Oh, and I forgot to mention: for what you get it is unbelievably cheap!

Room Tip: I suspect, from fellow reviewers' photos, all the rooms are good.

Wow! We booked a one night stay in Zaragoza as we were driving from coast to coast and wanted to break up the journey. What was booked as a functional stop turned out to be one of the best places we stayed in Spain.
We had the top (5th) floor apartment, overlooking the Basilica. The two bedroom apartment was well furnished, spacious and in great condition. The view was amazing and totally unexpected. 'Close to the Basilica' turned out to mean 'on the plaza, facing the front of the Basilica', rather than 'you can see the Basilica if you look at the horizon' which is what many hotels do.
The location is excellent and there were some nice restaurants / cafes on the street immediately behind the apartment. They also have their own car park (essential in the city centre).
An unexpected find and highly recommended.
