a little expensive but they do have quite a variety of tapas to try and the location is great, in the old part of Zaragoza; in a little plaza with just the right lighting and ambience. We have been there several times, while on different trips to this city. Definitely, will recommend.

Staff were very welcoming and really helpful. We had one proper meal here and then also popped in on another day because I fancied some seafood tapas. The food was really excellent, cooked right there in front of you. Excellent quality, fabulous taste. Definitely my favourite dining experience during our stay. Unpretentious, friendly atmosphere, recommended.

We were staying nearby in the Plaza Pilar and this restaurant was an easy 5 minute walk. located in a tiny square just above the cathedral. It's a very atmospheric location, rather romantic as several other reviewers have mentioned. It was a warm night so we sat outside but there was inside seating. We began with delicious croquettes of local ham in a creamy sauce within breadcrumbs. They were completely yummy and not in the least greasy. We then had salt cod croquettes which were also fabulous. Like garlicky mashed potato croquettes with a hint of salty fish. To be honest if you just had those first two plates, you would go away delighted. For mains we both had the lamb chops which were superb. Really sweet, soft local lamb. Absolutely delicous. Finished up with chocolate ice cream, coffee and enormous Catalan brandies. We had a bottle of white wine, a beer and 3 bottles of water as well and the total bill came to about 65 euro. It was an absolute bargain. They have a lot of seafood on the menu and that is more expensive but you can eat very reasonably here. Lovely friendly and attentive service and great ambiance. Would certainly return on a future occasion.

We were looking for Viktorino's and after a few wrong turns, my husband was attracted to this small square full of diners. They couldn't give us the last seat outside so we were told to sit inside. We ordered oysters and they are out of oysters and at this point I was not feeling happy. My kids are adventurous eaters so my husband ordered barnacles and prawns to start with. We had fun trying to figure out how to eat the barnacles and my son said, "they taste like the sea." The prawns were so fresh and perfectly cooked they were so sweet. Foie gras was served with marmalade and lavender jelly it made the table weep and go crazy. The waiter recommended a good seafood salad. With 2 cavas, 2 beers, 2 cokes and 2 iced teas, the bill was 105E. We came back the next day (after trying out another restaurant) seated outside for oysters and prawns.

Located on a little square, the restaurant serves delicious food in the midst of a lot of couleur locale. We had the paella, freshly prepared, tasting like Spain. Our waiter was extremely friendly & helpful and created the right atmosphere for a very successful diner!
