Though this restaurant can seat many people on two floors, during the week it wasn’t crowded until much later in the evening. The food was very good and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. If you have a reservation, a wider selection of tables seems to open up.

Not sure which wine by the glass you want? They’ll bring several bottles to the table for you to sample if you’re trying to select among several. This is not a quick meal place as service can be quite leisurely. However, that should be the style when in Spain. Take your time. Cheese platter was a good starter.

Forget driving here. Take a taxi and have them drop you off outside the exit for the Cathedral on the north side and walk the half block up the side street to get here.

If you’re trying to figure out which place to have dinner, this is a solid choice. Cheers

Having being spoilt by great Tapas in SoHo London, I was looking forward to the authentic version in Spain. First Impression were good in this wooden panelled Tapas Bar with locals but the food did not match the surroundings.
What was good: the atmosphere, the service, the cava and the potatoes bravas.
Poor: Iberian ham: pale, thick and fatty.
Anchovies ontoast- as though out of a tin.
Sausages - like frankfurters. Foie Gras- pale, grey and tasteless. And as some of these dishes were 24 euros - really not good enough.

One of the oldest local restaurants....service was slow but extremely polite. The menu had lots of typical andalucian food, good selection of fish and large wine selection

We are lazy Scottish people who don’t speak Spanish, but there are translations on the menu... so people come on here and complain that the Spanish waiters don’t speak English, but really, you only need to be able to read.... the waiters are dry but humour twinkles through as you get into a groove. Had lovely food, cheese, bread, croquettes, salad and splendid fillet steak with fries, ice cream sundae and a rice pudding/cake affair, all well prepared. Had no idea what any of the wines were like, so made a random pick from the Andalusia section on the menu, which was different but splendid. Go, recognise you are in Spain, life is a gamble so roll with it. Don’t complain as the waiter is Spanish. Order stuff when you are not 100% sure what you are going to get. Eat it/drink it. Smile and be happy

It locates almost direct near the Catedrale, has different kind of Paellas which are all good. A bit expensive, but still acceptable, as the food and service are both with good quality.
