“Lovely, friendly, perfectly located boutique hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

Our family group of 6, including young adults ages 16 to 21, spent one night during Holy Week at this lovely hotel. The location is perfect for visits to the Cathedral and the Alcazar and there are many shops nearby in the maze of cobblestone walkways. The kids loved ALL of the breakfast pastries, and the adults appreciated the fresh orange juice, coffee, and healthy choices. The desk staff was very friendly, spoke excellent English, and they were very happy to give us directions and suggestions. They even let us store our bags after check-out so that we could make the most of our brief time in Seville. We had 3 different rooms, and each was individually decorated and charming. The central courtyard is relaxing and lovely.

We spent three nights in the hotel and enjoyed our stay. The location is brilliant only a few mins from the Alcazar and Cathedral and near lots of bars and restaurants. The public spaces of the hotel were very nice and the central courtyard was beautiful. The roof top terrace with Jacuzi was great to relax after a long day walking round Seville. The hotels enclosed location in relation to the streets ensured it was quiet and peaceful. The Breakfast was ok, although scrambled eggs very good. Our room was one of the cheaper ones therefore quite cramped but clean and sufficient.

My wife and I, and a couple of friends visited Seville for the first time and loved this hotel. Beautiful central courtyard with the rooms stemming off (traditional arabic style). Also a relaxing roof top garden (perfect for some sun, a drink and a good book after a day of roaming around the old town of Seville).

The rooms are spacious, clean and the hotel has character. I recommend staying on level 2 or 3... as the ground level rooms get a fair bit of traffic coming through, which limits your ability to open the windows to your room that look out onto the courtyard. The staff are fantastic. Very helpful and provided really good advice on where to see a good flamenco show, recommended restaurants, etc.

Seville is one of my favourite places in Spain and I would definitely stay at this place if I go back.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and enjoyed it. The best thing about the hotel really is the location. It is right in the heart of the tourist centre with all the key sights within easy walking distance.
The central courtyard is lovely with bird song and a water fountain and a great place to relax.
Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The staff at breakfast were friendly but the quality of the food was quite poor in my opinion. Lots of ready packaged doughnuts and pastires. There were hot items which was a nice addition but I woud have expected overall a higher quality.

This is as described in all the reports you read here. The reception staff set a very high standard from the outset. The location is fascinating and although taxis can't get to the front door, it is a short walk from where they drop you off. Go left or right from the front door and you will wander the narrow streets of the Barrio with surprises on every corner.
The hotel is quirky, very clean and a lovely melange of styles. Our 2nd floor room was compact that'd an excellent bathroom. What a pity this hotel, like some others, have a most inadequate hair dryer in the room. It was the only item that let the eerie nice of staying here down. The breakfasts were fine on the whole, not as outstanding as some but they gave a good start to the day and there is always tapas at hand if you get hungry in Seville.

We stayed here in Room Number 15, for three nights at the end of March. It really is a very pretty hotel as written by several other reviewers before, in a super location. We got a friendly welcome and we had requested a room over looking the courtyard (due to the possibility of street noise) and that was what we got. Room no 15 is nicely decorated but you can't avoid the fact that it is small room (even though it is listed as a superior double). We managed fine for the three nights but not sure about staying longer.... No full length mirror so a lot of crouching involved! I had informed the hotel that we would be celebrating our wedding anniversary during our stay but this was unfortunately ignored by all which I thought was a pity - just a 'happy anniversary' wish would have been a nice gesture.
We did not get up for breakfast as our sleep was more important (bedroom walls a little thin, could hear snoring from room next door and toilet use!) so can't comment on this.
Fantastic location! We were not too fortunate with the weather but this really did not bother us - wow ! factor throughout this city.
We would certainly return to Seville, and stay in Santa Cruz but would probably check out other hotels - The El Rey Moro was very pretty but did have a few issues. Still very enjoyable though.

This is a lovely, comfortable and clean hotel. The staff are friendly but not intrusive. Breakfast is prepared by a friendly helpful lady. The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting Seville. My only complaint is that, being a light sleeper, I was woken up in the early hours by dustcarts and nearby restaurant staff clattering around . However, this is not the hotel's fault.
