Loved this hotel! It was nestled away in one of the many little lanes catacombing through the city (difficult to find at first, but don't be put out as that is Seville all round!) Beautiful little boutique rooms, clean and tidy. Up on the roof was a hot tub (we didn't use, but did go up to visit.) The staff were friendly and very helpful. Tapas looked delicious, but we didn't actually sample any (we generally don't stay in our hotels when we go away.) All in all, I think it is a fab little hotel (not the cheapest) and I would recommend to any friend or family going to Seville. Good job El Ray Moro Hotel Boutique.

You can walk to all the Seville main attractions from here. It's also surrounded by lots of fabulous restaurants and tapas bars. The hotel itself is beautiful, very peaceful. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great - you won't be diasppointed whichever one you get.

This is a fabulous place to stay in Seville - really central, absolutely beautiful courtyard, great rooms, brilliant service. We have just had our second stay there and if (actually I should say when - because it's a wonderful, friendly, intersting, beautiful, buzzy city) we return to Seville we won't do so unless El Rey Moro has a vacancy for us!

We recently traveled for 30 days in both Spain and Italy. We had the pleasure to spend 2 nights at the El Rey Moro September 11 and 12 and we wished we could have stayed longer! This is one of the finest small hotels we stayed at in our travels. This hotel is recommended by both Rick Steves and Trpadvisor and it is a true gem. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. Their breakfasts were the best with a great variety including eggs made to order! The lcoation is very central, on a quiet street, walking distance from the bus station and very close to the Cathedral and great restuarants. The rooms are very clean, plush bedding, great shower and comfortable bed. I highly recommend this and will happliy stay here again!

We recently stayed four nights at El Rey Moro. The hotel was in a very convenient location to visit the sights of Seville, and just steps away from restaurants and shops. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, breakfast in a peaceful and lovely courtyard, and a very comfortable and nicely appointed room. The weather was still warm so we appreciated the complementary water and relaxing in the central courtyard. We had wine and olives several nights and the front desk were helpful with glasses and opener from the restaurant. We would happily stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms 28 and 29 were the best!

Overall we really liked this hotel and would stay here again without a thought.

Liked:
Charming boutique hotel. Ambience was very quaint and romantic.
Very quiet.
Bikes for guest use for free.
Front desk staff very helpful in directions and reservations for a dinner we went out to.
Great location.
Hot tub available but we didn't have time to use it.

Lacking:
Bed was soft.
Hard to find. We made a mistake and had a rental car on our trip to Seville. Driving is not bad except it is tough to find the street signs as you are driving. Get gps in your car. On that note the parking suggested for the hotel is difficult to find. It is not well marked.
Ran out of juices at breakfast within 30 minutes of breakfast starting.

Room Tip: Ask for one facing the inside courtroom.

My wife and i spent a long week end here recently and thoroughly recommend it. It has a nice mix of traditional layout around a small but light and airy courtyard with the modern amenities from a recent renovation. The hotel itself is in a pedestrian street so there is no noise from the bustle of the Santa Cruz district, but its very centrally located just minutes from the Cathedral. The hotel also has a practical sundeck on the roof with a jacuzzi that is perfect for unwinding after long hours discovering Seville. We also made the most of the free bicycles the hotel keeps for guests.
