This was a great flamenco experience. Every night of the week there is free flamenco. It gets packed, but stay til late and you'll get to join in singing and dancing with the locals.

Young and stingy people flock to this place because it is free. I have seen top flamenco performers at a flamenco festival and can truly put this at the bottom of what I have seen. My 6 year old daughter whispered to me "i believe it is a man dancing". I agreed.
The venue is a trap and cocktails sells for 6 Euro. Save yourself the expenses on drinks and go and see a proper flamenco performance. You are in Seville after all.

Very relaxed cool place for drinks and late hangout. They always have some cultural performances going on (Flamenco, singing, piano) and all you enjoy with these really good priced drinks and all ages and types of people. So do try it once and you will definitely head back again. The setting is so real that all performances look authentic than these paid Flamenco shows.

Flamenco shows are available in several places in town, but for most of them you have to pay.
At La Carboneria, the flamenco show (20.30, 21.30, 22.20) is for free... The place itself is very interesting.. at the entrance there are several benches where people play chess... then you arrive into a sort of veranda with benches and tables facing a footboard where singers starts flamenco (accompanied by a guitar and with the lady dancing and performing).
Even if is possible to dine in, I wouldn't recommend it... just have a snack (jamos and cheese selection) and a beer and enjoy the 20 minutes show.
very interesting and different flamenco show.

There are a few different ways to see flamenco in Sevilla. The professional shows at 12 to 30 € are popular and touristy. There are genuine Spanish bars with spontaneous flamenco, and there's La Carboneria with no fee.

The performers aren't professional as those at the pricey shows, and there are definitely a lot of tourists, but we also saw locals there as well. Don't go for the food, it didn't look too good to us (didn't try any,) but the audience was into the performance, the wine and beer was good, the ambiance felt right and it's just a fun place.

We're not flamenco critics but thought the performers weren't too bad, especially the singer and guitarist on the mid week nights we were there.
