“Lovely hotel, great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

This hotel was full of character, in a lively area with plenty of tapas bars in easy reach. Seville is very easy to get around on foot, and this proved a great base from which to explore. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is beautifully designed. Very comfortable beds. Reception staff helped us book a trip to a spa which we saw advertised in the hotel - also recommended - http://www.airedesevilla.com/

We absolutely loved this hotel. We saw some good reviews on trip advisor and were looking for a place that was in a more local Spanish area and not at the tourist centr and it was the perfect spot. Right on a square surrounded by cafes and restaurants, lots of life and young people and quite local more than touristy. Only 15 min walk to the historic part of town with the cathedral, and the shopping area. the hotel itself was very charming and had a really nice vibe and feel to it. The rooms were decent size, clean and nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Although we were at the corner facing the square, the insulation was really good so the noise was almost none, and if it is in the summer time there is air conditioning. Also although not quite as convenient to not have a parking on site, it was not that bad. There is a spot in front to park temporarily while you drop luggage off and the hotel has an arrangement with a nearby parking lot for 20 euros a day. The biggest challenge was finding it as the Sevilla maps are not great and the gps is a bit confused in that city but the staff are helpful and can explain how to find it. But it is within 2 min driving so very close. All in all we loved it.

Nice small boutique hotel on a very good location a bit away from the fuss of the city but still close enough to go walking. Pleasant, nice and helpfull staff. The hotel is clean and tidy, stylish and good looking. We booked the economy room, and i must say it was too small for my taste, bed looked very nice but didn't feel confortable at all, the AC was too strong, it was too cold in the room, and it felt a bit claustrophobic inside since it only had a tiny window looking at the enterior of the hallway. The bathroom was big, rustic, and spotlessly clean. We didn't have breakfast so i don't know what's it like. Sound insulation was ok. Parking was a challenge. Free wifi was ok, could've been faster. The area where the hotel is located is very beautiful full of restaurants, cafe's and young people. Would recommend this hotel for a short stay, but try to skip the economy room.

I stayed here for three days with my mum as a girly mid-week break, and it was perfect. We arrived at the hotel too early to check in, but they allowed us to stow our luggage. The lady on reception then gave us a very detailed description of places to go, what to see, this was so helpful. When we checked into room 301 later that day we were initially shocked to see the room had no windows, but this turned out to be a blessing as it kept the noise, heat and sunlight (great for siesta naps)! The room was perfectly decorated in a shabby chic style with a very nicely sized bathroom (including a powerful shower). The hotel is situated in a lovely area which seems quite during the day but is buzzing at night with places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had planned a trip to Seville and having seen this hotel on a TV travel programme we decided to book for two nights. The hotel is nicely situated near the shopping district and is well served by local buses, the Seville Tour bus and taxis all of which stop nearby. The area has lots of character and comes alive at night with restaurants and tapas bars.
Our room was spotless with air con, safe, TV and the bathroom had a drench shower. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Twice on our nights out we were asked by locals which hotel we were staying in. On telling them it was the Sacristia de Santa Ana both said it was the best small hotel in the city. High praise indeed!

Recently returned from a quick trip to Seville for a wedding. We chose the Sacristia de Santa Ana at the last minute, and are so lucky to have done so. The hotel was perfect in almost every way. Very affordable, charming, conveniently located to the best shopping and dining in Seville, and with a super friendly and helpful staff to top it off. Would gladly stay here again the next time we return.

The hotel is approximately 15 minutes walk from the historical centre of the city, or 5 minutes if you hire a bicycle (highly recommended, definately the best way to get about).
Rooms are spotless and each decorated individually with very good taste.
The location is great, the Alameda being quite lively in the evenings.
Staff are helpful and polite.
Can't comment on the breakfast as I booked room only.
Very charming hotel.
