“Great value, great location”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

This small hostel is great value and it's conveniently located to visit Sevilla's monuments. It's just a 5-minute walk from the Cathedral and Alcázar and it also can be reached by foot from the AVE station (20 minutes).

The rooms are small but charming, very well decorated and equiped: Tv and A/C. The only problem is the noise that comes from outside which can be a little bit disturbing during the night. There is a chill-out terrace on the roof but I didn't visit it.

The staff is friendly.

I highly recommend this hostel if you travel on a budget since the prices are quite good.

Room Tip: Ask for a double bed.

We enjoyed our stay here because the hostal is located in the old atmospheric Santa Cruz neighborhood, around the corner from the flamenco museum, and close to some very authentic locals tapas bars and La Caboneira flamenco bar which is a fun place. It's 100 metres to the cathedral and palace which are the main attractions, as well as plenty of restaurants, shops and a taxi rank (next to the cathedral). I particularly loved the very hot shower with good water pressure. No breakfast but the hostal has a coffee vending machine and also sells water and soft drinks which is very useful.

This hostal could not have been more perfect for us. It is in the old quarter of Sevilla, right in the middle of a maze of unfathomable tiny streets. The decor is simple and very traditional, with interesting artwork to enhance it. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had pretty old brass fittings and an excellent shower. There was a delightful roof terrace. The hoteliers could not have been more kind and helpful.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor right at the front, probably the noisiest possible place to be. We slept...

I just spent one week with my friend at Callejon del Agua and really enjoyed it. We meant to stay just for two days but since the hostal was nice, decided to stay there for the whole week. We found the room nice and cosy, just what you need on a short holiday. The staff was very nice and helpful suggesting us some really authentic places we wouldn't have otherwise found. If you are on a budget holiday and aren't too fussy about things, you'll find this little hostal just fine. The real Sevillan adventure!

I admit, the hostal is not easy to reach, but we succeeded and could unpack in front of the hostal. The pepole at the reception turned out to be very friendly and the entrance patio is charming. The room was not big but sufficient, as was the bathroom. Wifi not on the room but in the corridors and the patio what was good enough. The price was very very good,32 euro pro night for double room. The hostal is superb located, five min. Walk from the cathedral. We spend four fantastic days in sevilla, even when the wheather was quite bad.we will return here for sure when returning to sevilla.

Room Tip: For our car we found a perfect spot at the universidad Pablo de Olavide. No costs and underground st...

Our experience in this hotel was great! Very central and good value for money!
The staff is very friendly and attentive! The room was very quiet and nice. The only thing that could be improved is the bathroom.

Centrally located in Sevilla. We could walk just about anywhere. It was a very short walk to the Cathedral and Alcazar in addition to many restaurants and shops. The room was simple but bright & airy. We had a balcony that looked below to the street which was nice. The bathroom & room were both immaculately clean. There is also a rooftop terrace which is a nice place to take a break and have some lunch. The staff was helpful and there is always someone at the front desk. Loved Sevilla and hope to be back and stay again at Callejon del Agua!

Room Tip: Centrally located. Pleasant rooms.
