For a little money you have a perfectly clean room with ensuite bathroom, the owners are always kind and helpful whenever you need. The palace inside is a typical andaluz dwelling, with a really nice patio. The location is fantastic because it's in the middle of the picturesque old town centre. Everything is easy to reach by walking.

Had 3 nights at this Pension. Superb value for money, great location, clean rooms with comfortable bed. 5 mins walk from cathedral, with plenty of tapas bars nearby. No breakfast but not necessary due to cafe bars around.

If you're after a budget option with some Spanish charm, then I'd recommend Pension Doña Trinidad.

When the taxi dropped me at the address, I could not even see there was a street there. Actually not really. It is a narrow passage, yet accommodating also a tiny restaurant by the name of Bodeguita La Vasija. No relation to the hotel, but a place you must try for its innovative, yet non pretentious and extremely well priced plates. Back to the hotel. Like most hotels, it has an elegant iron gate. A bell will bring the owner to the door. A nice courtyard decorated by nice blue tiles makes an impression. The stairs are also decorated with the blue tiles. There is no elevator and be prepared to carry your luggage. A word of advice: pack light. The city is casual and fun. I was on the top floor and my room looked exactly as in the pictures. Simple but clean with a private bathroom. Contrary to one comment I read, the internet connection worked fine for me. Just ask for the password at the desk. The hotel major attraction is its location in the St Cruz Barrio, the Judaic maze of streets, few steps from the arab bagnos, the museum of flamenco dance and few more steps away from the Giralda and alkazar. My 4 stars are because it is not really a hotel as you know it. Also there were no long mirrors and no drawers. But the place is really authentic. Just few steps away, there are several cafes that I used for breakfast but also dinner. The above mentioned restaurant had delicious plates that you can order as tapas, 1/2 portion or full portion. Salad with baby eel and fruit was divine, a bull tail is not to miss,... But honestly, anything on the menu is great

This pension is a tipical andaluz palace and the price is very low.
The room and the private bathroom are big and clean.
The owners are very friendly but the best thing is the position.
The pension is in a very small and quite street 4 minutes by walk from the Al cazar.
The way from the the pension to Alcazar is full of tapas bar and night life.

My husband and I stayed at Dona Trinidad for two nights. It is the perfect base for exploring Seville as it is ideally located within easy walking distance of major sights. It is clean, air-conditioned and all that you need when you are spending most of your time exploring the city anyway. It is certainly not luxurious but for the price you would not expect it to be and I think it is still a bargain in Seville, where accommodation is notoriously expensive.
The only niggle is that you have to hand your key in every time you leave which makes it feel a bit like living with your parents and feeling badabout coming home too late. However, the managers seem very used to the system and don't mind what time you return. The street can also be a bit noisy but I think this is probably the case in many of the hotels in an area of mostly cobbled walkways.
