Overall, a very decent place that is in the old town area with its narrow, winding 'streets' (alleys?). Price was quite reasonable and the staff was excellent. Three issues: very firm bed, bathroom door is glazed glass with no latch, and breakfast is a flat rate buffet (8 euros). I eat light so I went to the cafe across the street for breakfast. Re: the bathroom, not a big deal for married couples but can be awkward if you are traveling with a shy friend.

Even after I switched rooms, due to the heat not working, the bed did not improve! It was by far the hardest and worst bed I have ever slept in...I would never stay here again due to the beds alone! I ignored this review when I read them because I usually like hard beds, but you might as well sleep on the floor. The hotel itself is dark and dreary and somewhat depressing to be honest. The location is about all that made this place okay for the female solo traveler.

My wife and I stayed here during our visit to Seville.
It's right in the centre of the old town, perfectly placed.
The room was decorated in a really modern style. We strolled the old streets and ate at all the fantastic restaurants and tapas bars. It's perfectly placed for visiting all the tourist places in Seville. You won't be disappointed.

I saw some reviews good n bad but thought let's give it a go seemed to be a good location. Not sure why u put down room preference like high floor light room with a double bed when u always get the first floor 2 single beds together n average view. Always nice to have a large skip bin outside your hotel as nearby they are doing a construction building n given the small lanes the bin is outside your hotel. Construction noise was also a bit of a problem. Hi tech tv stuck in the corner too small, holes in the curtain little room in bathroom vanity top.

Dear guest,

We thank your review, this help us to improve. We are sorry for your disappointed stay. In our hotel the higher floor is the second and in the moment you arrive we have availability of rooms only in first floor. We sorry you for views of this room but there are construction in the neighborhood and the quarter has only very narrow streets. We are located in the little square with more space, that´s why the government of the city given temporally to this constructors the space to put the bin. We also hope the construction finish soon. We just remove the curtain you said.

Thank you and kind regards.

This is a well-located hotel on the edge of the Barrio Santa Cruz in Seville. The Alcazar, cathedral and Giralda are only a 5 minute walk one way, whilst the shops of the modern centre are 5 minutes in the other direction. It's also a stone's throw from the Hammam, which is a plus. The hotel itself is set in an old palace, but the inside has been modernised in dark greys and blacks with minimalist furniture. I liked it but my wife thought it had ruined a fine building. We had ground floor rooms which were dark and quite noisy as there were building works across the street. Our friends asked to be moved to a room on a higher floor which was lighter. The staff were friendly and accommodating and guests can use free bicycles, which we did. They were a bit basic and one-size-fits-all, but they afforded a great means of touring the city along Seville's network of separate cycle ways. The main downside was the hardness of the bed, which we found made sleeping difficult. One guest complained it had given her a stiff neck. Also the hotel is billed as high-tech with free wi-fi in all rooms, and a personal computer. But, the wi-fi was by far the slowest we encountered in Spain, and made practical surfing unworkable. At 3.30 in the morning it was just about usable, so the hard beds do have their uses after all. OK, but too many flaws to recommend wholeheartedly.

Very central and perfectly located hotel. The breakfast was varied and tasty and the room was really comfortable and equipped with a free laptop with free internet access. It was useful to check some information about the city routes and public transport. It is a totally recommendable urban hotel.
