“Great staff and perfect location”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

My wife and I stayed here over Christmas to experience a holiday in Spain and we couldn't have made a better choice of hotels. First of all, the staff is just amazing. We received some of the best service we've ever had at a hotel, including great tips for eating and sightseeing, friendly greetings, tours of the hotel, and bottles of cava in our room. They are always ready to help and went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied with everything for our holiday break. The food at the little restaurant downstairs was great and we had no problem with the wifi in our room. The hotel is located in a perfect area for eating and sightseeing. Most of the great sights in Sevilla are an easy walk from the hotel including the river with its Torre del Oro, the Cathedral and Alcazar, and of course the great little streets of old Sevilla. As others have pointed out, the area is filled with lively tapas bars and restaurants that are filled into the wee hours of the morning. So, if you plan to sleep with the windows open be aware that the locals can be loud but we had no problem with keeping them closed and slept well all three nights. Also it sounds like the hotel will be doing some upgrades so I believe it will be better than ever on our next trip to Sevilla and we really look forward to staying with them again. Also, try the Iberico pork mini-burger at 5J tapas bar just down the street - it's amazing.

Room Tip: Rooms on the inner courtyard are probably quieter but we had no problem sleeping in a room on the st...

My wife and I along with our daughter stayed here in late December and can’t say enough good things about the hotel. The location is perfect, a short walk to anything you would want to see in town. The room was comfortable - a bit tight for the 3 of us but it worked out just fine. The service was fantastic. Claudia and his team were extremely helpful and informative.

A very nice and unexpected touch was a bottle of cava and a plate of their fantastic cookies that were delivered to our room on the first night. Complimentary champagne around Happy Hour in the lobby was also very much appreciated. They also arranged for a free tour which was very interesting and informative as well as an awesome flamenco show. We fell in love with Sevilla and the Hotel Adriano.

We absolutely recommend the hotel and hope we are fortunate enough to stay here again!

This was our second stay in Seville. We loved this barrio (neighborhood)..it was close to the Bullring and within walking distant to the Plaza Nueva, the Cathedral, and an easy stroll across the bridge for great seafood and a more authentic spanish neighborhood. We stayed three nights. The first was Saturday after Christmas and the bars on this street were rocking until 2 am...we tried to keep our window open but the noise was crazy. Sunday night only one bar was open late and the noise was much less but Sunday morning the bell of the church across the street was loud and comical it rang so often. Monday night was New Year's Eve and it was very quiet all night. Go figure! So, if you are a light sleeper, get another room besides #208, or #209 that open onto the street. We didn't mind it to much but a ceiling fan would have helped alot creating white noise and a breeze allowing us to shut the windows firmly and shut out the noise. We had 3 mini balconies and we could take in the action from our perch. The bathrooms were clean with very good towels and the beds were very compfortable with quality sheets but I hate those old gold blankets in between. I like white cotton blankets best. The rooms had nice hard wood floors. The water pressure was great and the people running the hotel...the best! SO NICE and accomodating! We arrived with only 45min before the start of a walking tour. My husband had to drive with staff to the garage to park the car in a safe but small garage area and walk back (2 min @15E per day) the kids got hot sandwiches from the lobby and LOVED them as we bolted to make our tour. Everyday after that, they had a sandwich at some point in the day....really good bread, toasted, good meats and cheeses plus tomato and salami options. Nice to have a gelato chart in the lobby too! Champagne in the room and sculpted towels made us smile. Along this winding street is a husband and wife making churros fresh from a little stall. I liked the shops on this street and don't miss the bull head tapas bar...there is a cheese el campo (red pepper sauce) that we still dream about. We only checked out the hotel terrace on the roof 4th floor late at the end of our stay and it was closed but looked great...wish we had taken our complimentary champagne up there. check it out!

Room Tip: #209 and #208 had mini balconies that opened onto a scenic, active street with entertaining happenin...

Upon arrival we simply dropped us our suitcases and waited a few minutes by the car in the street for the car park attendant to come with us to the car park, about a 5 minutes walk away.

At reception we were greeted by two very friendly staffmembers who processed our check-in very quickly in a team-effort and we were offered a refreshment. Our inside room was lovely and spacious, here and there a bit dated but in such a way that it added to the charm of the hotel. All the facilities are accounted for, including extra pillows.

Upon return to the hotel after our first night in Sevilla, we were greeted by a bottle of Cava in our room, together with a handwritten welcome note. Excellent little touch, but to find another bottle of Cava on our second night, that was just a superb surprise.

Breakfast was included, offering a simple selection but somehow I cannot but prefer this over the over-charged breakfasts offered in most hotels.

The location of the hotel could simply not be better. Most of what Sevilla has to offer within walking distance: The historic centre with the cathedral, the river with the Torre de Oro, the shopping area, the eating area... etc. etc. Not to mention the very many trendy bars and tapas bars within 100 meters of the hotel, including the "club" next door. We had a fantastic time and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sevilla, especially 30-something couples who are away from their little ones for a few nights.

Room Tip: Ask for an inside room if you are concerned about any street noise.

went to seville for two nights for a quick pre-xmas getaway
great time to go to be honest - cool but not cold and on the whole fewer tourists - the xmas lights and market in town also helped to get into the xmas spirit
this hotel was great with large rooms and bathrooms - staff very friendly and helpful - wifi was a bonus - breakfast was basic but all that was needed after gorging on meals out late in local restaurants the night before- location is one of the best assets of the hotel - walking distance to everything

Room Tip: room towards the back of the hotel are preferable as then you are not near the road - not that the r...

Hotel Adriano is set in the old town centre, a stone's throw from Constitution avenue and the Cathedral. It is also just down the road from the bullring. There are lots of charming, traditional bars and restaurants frequented by locals. The hotel itself is small and has a intimate, personal feel. The staff are friendly and do what they can do be of help. They are great with sightseeing tips and taxis and such. The hotel even sent up complimentary cava to our room and, even though they don't have room service, they sent us up some coffee too. The rooms are immaculately clean and the bathrooms well equipped with towels and toiletries. Only downside is that the rooms can be a bit noisy on the weekend from the noise of the Rockefeller(?) bar close by.

Wonderful stay here for three nights from the 4th of December . Hotel is run superbly with most attentive staff , but not over fussy . Spotlessly clean and well appointed bedrooms with everything you could need . Had three very comfortable and quiet nights sleep. A good continental breakfast is taken in the hotel foyer . Tasty and fresh with lovely staff. The situation is fantastic being two minutes from the cathedral one way and two minutes to the river the other . An abundance of bars , cafes and variously priced restaurants at your doorstep . Plan to be back early next year . You'll not be disappointed . As good as everyone says - maybe even better .
