We have stayed at Adriano several times. Each time the staff has been extremely helpful and friendly, the room clean, quiet, cool, comfortable and (by European standards) very spacious. Our only complaint: on one visit, the in-room refrigerator was in need of replacement.

Dear Mr. Ralfraz

We express our gratitude and thank not only for their loyalty when choosing us as your hotel every time you visit our city

Thanks also for sharing with us and with all the travel community your stay in Seville, for his views and experience.

Thanks for bringing the problem with the refrigerator, is the best way to improve every day and provide better service and quality to all those who visit us.

The problem was that it was connected to an outlet that does not work 24 hours, the rest is disconnected when you remove the card access and room service.

Sincerely, from Seville, we are available for another occasion where you want to return to our city

Hotel Adriano in Sevilla is in a very good location for walking in same neighborhood, as well as all of the historic district. It is also walkable to the shopping/commerical district... just need to get your bearings.. to i.e. O'Donnell Street.
We highly recommend this hotel for cleanliness, comfort, pleasantness and helpfulness of staff. Wifi free and okay in rooms, but much better access in the ground level restaurant where you can spend time leisurely without pressure. Order a cafe con leche or a tea, or sangria and just have a nice stay while dealing with internet needs.
We suggest the double superior and ask for a corner room with more windows. Street noise not an issue when windows closed and locked. Double pane glass and tight seal works very well. If an adjoining room resident is loud, you will hear that though ( our neighbor had a bad cough but overall it was not a big deal). Restaurant a bit pricey, as are the rooms, given our experience in other cities such as Cordoba, but very well located, clean, safe. Rooms are more old world Europe vs. chain USA and this appealed to us and it is where we tend to stay when traveliing.
Bathroom amenities good; shower great. No complaints.

Room Tip: If you reserve a double superior and are shown a front room with one window/non corner room; ask to...

When I was looking for hotel in Seville for 4 nights in the beginning of the March, I found several hotels in historic center in the same class; price for hotel Adriano was 25% higher than for other hotels, but I decided to go with Adriano based on trip advisor reviews.
Good things: good location, clean room. Bad things: horrible plumbing – if you are taking shower, you need to be ready jump out of it – water could become very hot or very cold without any action from your side. Noise level is high – you could hear any door open in hotel; thermostat is not working properly – if you turn heat on, it will not automatically turn off when needed temperature is reached. Mattress and lining are on the older side.
Nothing is seriously wrong with this hotel, but overall experience did not justify extra 25% in price

Mrs. Barabara 2009:
Thank you for your comments about your experience. We are really sorry to hear that your stay did not reach your expectations. Please accept our sincere apologies for this. We assure you that we take note about your comments to improve our installations.

Its first notice that we have with the water pressure, we will check it.

In the sistems are running now in the city with hot sistems, during day there are in the city around 30º Celcius and 10 º celsius at night. Maybe you didnt understand or your didnt ask at the reception how was working the sistem, I dont know. But the sistem is checked every week.

About: price: Overrated / overpriced: In March (1 till 15) our price was around 60.00 // 70.00euros, (including 8% taxes)? or 80.00 // 90.00 for a Superior room tax included? It is a normal price / location in the city in low medium season. Sincerely overrate is if you pay 500.00 euros per night, (not the case).

About the Mattress and lining: its very very very extrange, but I will check it.

Dear guests: Its very easy to wright after a travel, but you will have a better experience anyway, and it´s more easier when you are in the place and you have a doubt or a problem to tell us as soon as possible so we can help you or try to solve inmediately if is possible, even if you stay one or four nights.

Its the best way for both parts and better for your experience in order to create something better talking directly with me, it is so easy.

But the most important thing: Please accept our sincere apologies.

Hope to see you again very soon and from our entire team our warmest regards.
We remind you that, you find our best prices on our webpage.”

Sincerely yours.

I booked Hotel Adriano because I thought that a cheaper hotel would be better than staying at a hostel. And at 100 Euros per night, Hotel Adriano was the cheapest hotel that I could get that still had a decent rating. Boy was I wrong. We should have left after the first night.

requested a quiet room with a king size bed. I was given a room on the first floor with hardly any natural light and which was FREEZING at night. We stayed at the beginning of April and it was cold during the nights, especially since there are marble floors and no sunlight to warm up the room. After inquiring about heating I was told that the rooms do not have individual heating. So I was offered a change of rooms. We were told that the rooms facing the street were very noisy and were offered an interior room on the third floor with double beds which was right next to the elevator. And you could hear the elevator in the room, so we asked for another room. This time we were offered one on the second floor which smelled to high heaven of sewage. Of course we refused to take that one.

We were then offered another room on the third floor. This room overlooked a roof full of pigeon feces and garbage (I am not kidding, please see the pictures). We decided to choose this one, since no more rooms were available, and just keep the window closed. One thing I did not read in the reviews was that this hotel is next to a nightclub. In our room you could hear the thumping of the techno music until four in the morning - it made it a little difficult to get a restful night's sleep.

At the price of the room I expected more from this hotel. I was appalled by the rooms they offered us and the lack of sleep from all of the noise nearly ruined our stay in Seville. Luckily the city was so amazing that we still managed to have a good time.

I also would expect the safe to be complimentary at that price, which it is not. The staff were not particularly friendly, nor were they helpful with recommendations for restaurants or nightly entertainment. However, they were more than helpful when making reservations for a flamenco show (from which I'm sure they get a kick-back.)

The service at the restaurant when getting breakfast was hit and miss. The coffee and breakfast was decent. On the busy days they tended to ignore you, or only bring you part of your order.

I wish that we had stayed in the Triana district where hotels are cheaper. I wanted a hotel in the city centre to be closer to everything, but it really is not a very far walk from the Triana district to the downtown.

Dear Guest, Lostris21.
Thank you for your comments about your experience. We are really sorry to hear that your stay did not reach your expectations. Please accept our sincere apologies for this. We assure you that we take note about your comments to improve our installations, our service and our neigborhood. Hope to see you again very soon.

But I want to clarify some points:

- The picture that you sent is FROM THE ROOF OF A HOUSE NEXT TO THE HOTEL, this PICTURE IS NOT FROM THE HOTEL.
We have claim and try several times to the owner of the house close to us to clean and paint this area. We are still waiting for an answer, so can can we do?. If He don’t lets us to paint his house. ... But I only can repeat that this building don’t belongs to the hotel

I suppose that sometimes you see things around where you are, not yours,... and you cannot do changes in your neighbourhood houses, is a part of your real life. (is only a point of view, like taste, smells, colors,...)

- All the rooms have heating / air conditioned, There is only one system for all the hotel, could be running on air conditioned instead heating if the weather in Seville was around 30º C. In April, (just a little bit hot).

- The hotel is next to house who have a nightclub, which was isolated from the owner of the house close to our hotel, (same owner than you sent the picture) last summer they reform the place,... and Sincerely I didn’t have any claim about noise from this place,... by the way he didn’t paint the place of the picture you sent.

- Thanks for tell everybody that we show you many and different rooms, that means that we try to do our jobs friendly and helpful,... but depends also in your point of view,...

- Our staff is multilingual, friendly and helpful, if not they don’t work here. You pay them not me. Of course we recommend places when you ask for it or when you need some information else, the feed back that people who stay here is great, happy and charm ,..

- Safe is an extra service as laundry, telephone, garage, cafeteria,.. But you can tell also that we have free WIFI, same price last year, Free.

- The rooms to the patios have natural light, light during the day and dark at night. I think that’s a normal thing everywhere.

- We don’t have restaurant, we have a small cafeteria, but that case is not normal, all customers must be attended

- No one can afford to let a customer go without being attended

- Yes, we are located in the city centre, only 250 meters from the Cathedral. Triana hotels are only 20 /30 minutes walking distance if you know where you have to go or take a taxi.

- A question? How did you stay 3 nights in the same place, 1 room per night, ... nothing was good? And a review almost one year later?....

Hope to see you again very soon in Seville and from our entire team we extend our warmest regards. We remind you that, you find our best prices on our webpage.”

Sincerely yours

Adriano is in a fantastic location and we stayed here for two night and could walk everywhere with my 2 kids ages 3 and 12. We felt quite safe coming back at night after 10pm as being on my own with kids.

Right someone just mentioned the wonderful staff here, they really were great. I can't falter them in any way. The two ladies who were there in the day were just as fantastic as the evening guys and they all spoke very good English. We really like the furnishings in our room and there was something about it that made it feel so personal. There is a mini bar (small fridge) in the room so it can be handy if you want to store up packed lunch

I highly recommend Adriano hotel and would go back there again in a flash but just something worth mentioning (this isn't peculiar to Adriano but generally applies to both to older spanish homes and hotel) is lighting. There wasn't any outside natural light coming in our room, but there was a beautifully done patio outside in our ground floor room. We spend a month touring Andalucia and it seems houses/ hotel are made to block out as much sun as they can but as we visited in February, outside light would have been nice. This shouldn't really put anyone off this great hotel and there is a little bar and outside sitting area where you can get the sun from if this is an issue to you.

As I had kids while the continental breakfast was OK (a bit more choice would have been welcome) but then the Spanish aren't really known for breakfast. The breakfast is more than adequate but as I had two fussy eaters, it was a small issue but not enough to take away the 5 star I will give to Adriano.

Another tip: Don't even try and find the Garage hotel, its VERY complicated to get there but upon check in, the hotel gives you someone to jump in your car showing you how to get to the car park.

Location, location, location. The Adriano is located within walking distance of almost all sites we were interested in. We started out thinking we would stay one night but ended staying three nights without having to move our room. As has been reported, the parking garage sends somone to guide you to the garage which is just about around the corner; however, the one way streets make it difficult to find (getting the car is much easier since the streets run towards the hotel).
The staff was very friendly and helpful. As a matter of fact, when we checked in, the manager helped my wife with the bags while I parked the car. They served breakfast in their cafe and it was more than adequate.
If we go back to Sevilla, we will definitely stay at the Adriano.
