Small flamenco performance in the interior lobby of a hotel. Only about 60 seats. Folding chairs set up around a square stage. Our performance started at 7 pm, and people started lining up outside by 6:30 pm. Doors opened at 6:40 pm. No assigned seating - first-come/first-select. Buy tickets in advance.
There was no air conditioning and it was a very hot night. The performers did not seem to mind. The performances were FANTASTIC. Very enthusiastic and energetic.
Our goal was to give our teen boys a taste of southern Spanish culture and this was a great one-hour show of Spanish song, guitar and flamenco dance. I worried that the boys would think it was not "cool" but they were very impressed with the performances.
