Owner description: Andalsur Tours offers the possibility of visiting the Alhambra and its marvelous pavilions from Seville. The visit will be carried out in the company of an official guide of the city, and will last approximately 3 hours. The visit will be in English, French and Spanish.A walk around the Alhambra, declared a World Heritage by UNESCO, is a required activity for every visitor of the city of Granada. Furthermore, it’s a work of art that calls out us, maybe by his attractive and elaborate rooms, by its monumental and historic position or by the special charm of its exquisitely detailed Islamic art and architecture. In this visit is included the pick up and drop off from Seville to Granada and the transport to the Alhambra Palace; the entrance fees to the Alhambra (Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba fortress, Generalife Gardens and Palace of Charles V; the company of a professional Spanish, English and French speaking guide and later, ther will be some free time to walk around the historic city center.

I've always been curious about Gibraltar and about the Gibrish they talk (it's very funny!) and so, since I was already in Seville visiting a friend, I decided to make a reservation with Andalsur. All the staff is very gentle and accurate! They described me very well what was going to be the tour and how everything worked from the time schedhule to the pick-up/drop-off service (and since I my cell-phone battery died the day before the trip, they called the hotel, sent me an email and left a text message and a vocal message.. they were very thorough!!).
Our guide, Alicia, was the best! She was fun but did not bore us on the road as other guides do and everything she said was very interesting!!! She spoke the right amount of time and let us rest/sleep the rest of the time :). She also managed to find one of us who left at one point of the tour and did not now how to re-join the group.. she was a very strong woman!!!
In Gibraltar, since the day was quite ok, we got to see Africa from Europe-Point, we saw the Caves (which are very great! There are amazing rocks and it is impressive to think that they also use it as a Concert hall!!), I got to see the famous monkeys of Gibraltar and take a picture with them (It was very fun and they are very friendly!!) and I got to shop like a boss (it was great, everything is very cheap in Gibraltar!!).
To sum up: it was a great tour, with great people and great organization! My suggestion is, if you don't know which company to call for a tour in Andalusia I strongly reccomend you choose Andalsur! They are very great!!!

Thank Andrea B

We didn't deal direct with these people. We booked 3 trips with All Sevilla Tours SLNE believing we would travel with them, however they sold us to Andalsur Excursions.

Trip 1, Seville to Granada:
Very uncomfortable coach considering it was 4+4 hours on the road. Carlos the guide had very poor English. A fellow passenger (from Australia) commented that if we didn't understand his English we would surely follow his Spanish, he was this poor. He was not a registered guide either, he said his boss had asked if he liked people and travelling when he was recruited and his answer was yes which was why he had the job. The coach dropped us in Granada for 3 hours 20 min with a map and we were on our own. Then they took us to Alhambra, and we had another guide who had 20 people on the trip (6 KMS walking) more than half of whom were Spanish. So he was saying everything in Spanish and English. Which meant we could see half of everything (if everything was in English we would not be staying in same place for as long as it to be repeated in 2 languages). Alhambra itself was a good experience and we wish we spent a lot more time there than in Granada.

Day 2 - Seville Day tour (2.5 hrs):
Apart from the fact that our guide asked us what religion we were and also had the time to tell us about an African man breaking her heart when she lived briefly in England, it was a very rushed tour, we could only visit the rooms in cathedrals that she took us to (we could see there were more to explore but weren't allowed to), when I asked if we could explore a bit more she reminded that she had only 2.5 hours, and then at one place, there was an English display board which read things completely different from what she said (she said it was rain water collected for plants and the display said it was a swimming pool enjoyed by the king and his guests) we cannot be sure she was ever telling us anything true!

Day 3 Seville to Cordoba:
This was one of its kind, my wife said it was the worst experience of her life and to be frank, had something like this had happened in the UK, we would be offered a full refund. The guide was Helen who came to collect us from the hotel. She said he had never been to Cordoba. Same coach as trip 1. We were outsourced again (like Granada) to another local guide. The team size was 41 (I counted). The guide was speaking mostly in Spanish and very little in English. I once clocked in the Cathedral she spent 23 min for one room in Spanish and 3 minutes for us English speaking people. Then at the end of the trip we had 40 min before the bus departed for Seville. We found a quiet corner under a tree and were resting the feet (had to walk a lot as it was a walking trip of Cordoba) when she appeared and said that we should head for the bus and rest in the bus. We came to the bus stop only to find in scorching Sun that there was no bus. She re-appeared in 15 min to say it was not her fault, it was driver's fault. She didn't realise that the driver and herself both represented the same company! She started shouting that it was okay and she didn't understand what I was protesting about. Great!

All in all, our whole Granada tour was ruined!

My family and I did the Granada day tour from Seville to see the Alhambra and it was great. The day is very long since the drive to Granada is 3 1/2 hours, but it is well worth it. We were picked up promptly at our hotel as scheduled at 6am in a mini-bus. Our tour had 15 people on it which was good - not too big and not too small. The drive to Granada was 3 hours plus a 30 minute rest stop. Our guide was ok - quiet most of the ride which was fine since we slept most of the way to Granada. The Alhambra tour was given by one of the local tour guides and it was excellent. After we toured the Alhambra we went into the city of Albaicin for a tour. It was a very short tour and then we had free time for lunch and shopping. Albaicin was ok - not the highlight (Alhambra was of course), but it was fine. We then drove back to Seville and arrived as scheduled at around 7pm. Overall, it was a great tour. If you are staying in Seville and want to see the Alhambra (which I highly recommend you do since it is incredible) then Andalsur is a great tour company to do a day trip - prompt and efficient. It is a long day but worth it!

This was such an enjoyable and informative day trip from Sevilla to Grenada/The Alhambra/Albaicin Walking Tour! Bus driver Alex was prompt for our (very) early 6:05 am pick up, and he is an excellent driver! Tour Guide Silvia was so knowledgeable about the entire region! She is not only fluent in English - she is so energetic and made the whole day relaxed and fun! After our tour to The Alhambra, we opted to take the walking tour with Silvia of the Albaicin Quarter, which was so interesting. Unfortunately, we were running a bit late due to Grenada traffic problems, so that portion of the tour was rushed - we all wished we could have had more time in that area of town. But we did have time for lunch in one of Silvia's favorite restaurants, which overlooked the entire town and The Alhambra. This is a long day, but a "must" for travelers...we are so glad we booked this tour!

The excursion was from Sevilla to Granada. I was picked up close to where I was staying. Most of the day was at Alhambra and I opted for a walking tour. The tour was o.k. but the best part was the location overlooking Alhambra. We went for lunch at the restaurant but be careful we received a glass of wine and buns we didn't ask for and it was charged to our table until we disputed it with the waiter. Check your bill. Alicia was our tour guide and did a very good job, she is well versed in English and she was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the day.

Thank you very much for your comments, Mink. It is a pleasure to know that you enjoyed our trip and your guided visit to the Alhambra. Regarding to your comments on the restaurant, we are really sorry to know that they will try you to charge you for something you did not order, but we do not know which restaurant you visited, and ther arre so many of them in Granada!
It seems that you are quite happy we all the services we actually provided you runned out so well. We hope to see you soon again in Andalusia to continue showing the best of our land.
Best wishes!!!
