The hotel is good located but nosy , specially in the lorning as there is a primary school close to the hotel . The staff at the reception is nice, but speaks little English, so it was complicated to explain about our needs. The room clean but bot really comfortable, even though we have asked several times - the water has never been put in te freege and the tiny shower remained blocked during the whole stay. We had a special request and confirmed with the hotel once by email and twice by phone, finally they have made it completely opposite which costed us more money... Kind of dissapointed by our experience in this hotel.

This is a boutique hotel with rather small rooms yet nicely appointed. However, our air conditioner broke down and since this hotel is located by the plaza, we couldn't open our windows because of the horrible noise. We asked for a fan to drown the noise but the hotel didn't have one. The night auditor claimed they had no more available rooms so we had to leave at 3:00 am to another hotel. Didn't get to sleep until 5:00 am. Worst experience ever!

The hotel locates on a good location, just about 3 mins you'll get to shopping center. The staffs are friendly. Room is clean and nice but really small. The bed is quite big and comfortable. You can get some travel information at front desk. But some staff cannot so good English.

We didn’t quite enjoy this hotel. The hotel is located off a modern plaza that has seen its day. The hotel tries hard but doesn’t quite make the cut. As a city hotel, the rooms are small and require a learning curve. You need to learn how to use the shower, the heating system, TV and the hallway lights. It was a bit too much. The shower is akin to a modern shower pod with an overhead shower, wall shower and handheld water source. The shower also has a radio. It will take getting used to. The AC system is a wall unit high on the wall with a remote control system. If left on, the system has a panel with a neon blue light that will stay on all night or flash on and off. You’ll need to know how to use that remote. Again, using the TV proved to require some learning curve to change the channels. We really didn’t like lighting in the hallways. The lighting is time sensitive to save energy. The hotel has motion sensors but they don’t always work well. On a least one occasion, the lights turned off while we were on the stairs. While there are light switches to activate the hall lights, you can’t always get to them in time. The hotel has a small lobby with two chairs. The rooms only have one chair so if you want to sit and chat with friends, you can use some of the small sitting areas in the hallways of the hotel. But the lights will constantly go off while you are sitting there. The WiFi internet is painfully slow at the hotel if you can get on. We think they have a limit for the number of connections at one time. The hotel breakfast didn’t cut it with us. Most of the pastries are packaged pastries. They have a lovely cook that will make you a plain omelette or an omellete of ham and cheese. The juice was fresh but the breakfast didn’t measure up well with other hotel breakfasts we’ve had in Europe at comparable hotels. We were at the hotel 3 nights. While smoking is not allowed in the hotel, apparently, guests can (and are allowed) to smoke in the balconies. And, the smoking rule is not enforced. We encountered a chain smoking couple and the smoke smell was clearly outside their room and down the hallway. (A call to the front desk on this issue resulted in a comment that they could not enforce the no smoking rule.)

Room Tip: Ask for a additional pillows as they are quite long and round but soft. Many rooms face an inner cou...

Location: Excellent and central, right by the Parasol. Onsite parking available for a charge.
Check in: Efficient/staff friendly
Décor/standard of accommodation: Beautiful décor/furniture - needed to be in a hotel twice the size! Not practical. Shower room minute and only just functional! Shower cubicle fun (multiple shower heads and wired into the radio). Small lift available. Comfortable bed.
Bar on the roof: Service terrible, waited to be served while staff chatted (music night - staff seemed to be more interested in greeting friends and talking to the artists rather than serving customers).
Free contents of minibar offered with room - turned out to be bottled water and a couple of packets of crisps!
Aircon efficient.
Hadn't opted for breakfast.

Room Tip: Don't bring too much luggage - there'll be no room for it!

We made a 7 nights/8 days Andalucian Trip, which was a dream for me to realize in my entire life time.
I should visit Sevilla for the first time, and made a long lasting research on the internet pages and decided to book the hotel Palace in Sevilla. Allthough the rate was over my budget, I took this hotel for two nights, Oct 18-20, 2013 (2 double rooms), because of the recommendations.
Alltough the staff at the reception was helpful enough we were not happy with our stay at the hotel.
the breakfast room was a terrace floor, covered with a tent. It was very cold. There were no breakfast items prepared on both days on the display table. Tomatoes were cut in 1 millimeter slices. Cheese and ham was finished and we had to wait for the only youung man, who run away, coming later with missing bread..If you wanted to drink tea, you should take the plug of the coffee machine out and change to hot water kettle or visa versa. Because they had not a multiple plug for electrical instruments.

The quality of the breakfast was not satisfying at all, neither the general cleanless of the hotel.
The highlight of our stay was a big cockroach, which was killed by my friends at their room in the night. When we told this to the reception, the answer was, that it must have most probably come from the outside through the window, which was not a satisfactory answer.

I will never recommend this hotel to anybody.

Best regards
Fahri Barkul

The hotel is situated in plaza de la encarnacion where the Metropol Parasol is - you can't miss it as it looks like a giant mushroom!!
Our room looked out onto the Parasol in the square.
The hotel has its own underground garage €25 per day - worth it for the security and peace of mind
The room was very small with the tiniest shower room. Ok for a couple of nights but I couldn't have coped with the lack of space for any longer.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Free wifi.
Bar on roof terrace..
Strange arrangement for breakfast - it's basically a marquee on the roof - limited choice but adequate..
What makes this hotel great is its location for everything..
We arrived on the weekend of the Corpus Christi festival - wonderful atmosphere, the streets filled with Spanish families in their Sunday best - sprigs of rosemary strewn on the pedestrianised footpaths with the wonderful aroma of the herb permeating the warm air as people walked over it.
We booked a walking tour via Viator with a new organisation run by a very enthusiastic Brit called David. As well as a guided tour of the city on foot we had a river trip and a visit to 2 tapas restaurants where we were introduced to many new types of wonderful tapas.
The flamenco museum is well worth a visit - they put on a flamenco show twice each evening in the small theatre setting - this was superb!
Seville is a beautiful city with wonderful atmosphere.
