We had cod salad & stuffed mushrooms & grilled pork. All the dishes were tasty although the pork was served rare which alarmed me a bit. We will return, however, because we like the ambiance. The place is quite small & has outdoor seating.

I was in Sevilla for four days and had lunch here three times. The tapas are really good--some traditional, but some with a gourmet twist. The prices are very reasonable and I loved Xavier, one of the bartenders. He's a really sweet, friendly guy who knows his food and would probably love to work in the kitchen. He selected most of the tapas I tried, and there wasn't a disappointment. One special compliment to the kitchen staff-- they didn't overcook anything. The fish was done to perfection. The grilled pork was underdone for my taste, but I guess that's the way they roll in Spain. The pork was tender, juicy and simply delicious, but I didn't expect it to be medium rare. I selected the salad with the raspberry dressing, and while it's good, I don't understand the raving. It's a typical type of salad in the U.S. but maybe not in other countries.

Went to El Pasaje tonight after reading previous reviews. They were all correct. Had a really nice evening, enjoyed 7 tapas between the 2 of us. V helpful staff recommended a good selection. All were freshly cooked & well presented. Particularly enjoyed the tortilla de patatas & solomillo con queso azul. A definate recommendation. Plan to go again before the end of our stay.

A great lunchtime sitting outside this bar eating tapas - specials and standard menu accompanied by good wine and served by friendly and helpful staff all at a very reasonable cost.

This is a great little tapas bar...tucked away in its own little street just off the main area for tapas in Barrio Santa Cruz. Just because it's tucked away, though, doesn't mean it's not busy! The menu is varied and exquisite with a big selection of daily specials. We browsed at the menu but instead just kept looking at all the different plates of food being served and went for what we liked the look of most (after some enquiries and explanations given by the excellent staff). My recommendation is this is the way to go. Excellent choice of good quality wines on offer at very reasonable prices if beer is not your thing and what a wonderful way to while away a couple of hours in the afternoon after a busy morning"s sightseeing.
