“A whole meal on a tiny dish”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013

In a little street of El Arenal, you can find this modern Tapas Bar, La Bruilda. Small and interesting Menu.. And well preesented. Check the pictures on Facebook. Croquetas, papas bravas, pollo con polenta y setas, tartar of tuna. Excelente Bacalao con pure de colifror. 6 tapas, 2 sherry, 4 soft drinks, €32. Place Hard to find, if you take a taxi, usually they don't know the street, go to Restaurant Cairo on Reyes Catolicos and you will be 2 blocks to the right place!!!!
The place also smells nice.

“Clean, bright, modern & delicious.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

Tapas with a difference. Not the usual run down tatty bar, but a modern setting and a modern take on the tapas menu, which we really enjoyed.
It was also nice to have enough light to read the menu (perhaps I'm just getting old!).

“Truly a gem hidden in a quiet alley. Tapas Michelin-style!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

Tapas with a modern twist. The best tapas I had for the whole of my one week tour around Andalusia. Imagine having numerous-course tasting menu in a starred restaurant but here in a neighbourhood bar with simplistic design. Menu not as big as most tapas bar but everything is geniusly presented. The humble cod fritters were served with garlic and pear mayonnaise. Grilled octopus served on a bed of sautéed breadcrumbs top with heering caviar! Sounds more fine-dining than tapas bar. Average 3 to 4 euros which is very reasonable for the high quality. The dessert however, wasn't impressive. Maybe I have been kept impressed course after course of the tapas that my expectation was too high?

“What a find in Sevilla!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2013 via mobile

We are staying at the Hotel Becquer and wanted to find a good place for a light dinner. We chose La Brunilda and were so happy we did. The chicken and pork tapas dishes were so delicious, as was the dessert brownie. Warm and welcoming servers which always adds to the experience. We are going back tonight. Also was very well priced and just around the corner from our hotel.

“Stylish tapas bar in El Arenal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2012

Had delicious Sunday lunchtime to tapas in this bar. Rather stylish decor and food, certainly better and a bit more imaginative than the average tapas bar. On a Sunday lunchtime in December the place was very busy with locals and families, but although rushed off their feet the staff were kind and helpful. We thought it was reasonably priced and good value, certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.
