This hotel was excellent value for money, clean, quaint and full of character. The double bedroom on the second floor was quiet and cool with air conditioning which was much needed after sightseeing in the hot spanish sun. The buffet style continental breakfast set you up for the day, coffee and orange wine available throughout the day was included and much appreciated. The location was brilliant close to all the main sights, cafes, bars and restaurants serving excellent, sangria, tapas etc. Reception were very helpful and recommended Los Gallos flemenco show which was brilliant. Overall a superb break away.

Went here for a long weekend 1st - 4th july. it was a surprise for my birthday - first time in Seville - both the city nor the hotel disappointed. The staff were very helpful and there was free coffee and orange wine between the hours of 11.00am and 10.00pm.
Our room was simple but lovely. Our friends had a room facing the street which was a little noisy apparently, but ours was facing the courtyard and very quiet.

I would definately return here - ideally situated for all the brilliant tapas bars and city sights!

Room Tip: Away from the street side.

Beautifully restored building, attractive lobby. Reception staff were really fantastic and their level of professionalism was amazing, with added personal touch - they knew me by name. My room was on the street side, so there was a lot of traffic, but if you closed the shutters, you could sleep OK. I stayed for 4 days and it was an ideal basis for exploring Seville, with major sights and good restaurants a few minutes away.

The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and they were the reason I did not rank this hotel worse than an overall 3. Saw two cockroaches, the beds were very hard, and our room (a triple) was at street level, and the street is very busy and noisy (not anticipated, as it is a very narrow street - watch out when you leave the hotel! no sidewalk!). The room was stuffy because the air conditioning did not work well, and we could not open the windows for ventilation due to the constant street noise all night. The location was close to all the touristy areas, which was nice. I would not stay here again, though.

A simple hotel, no bar or restaurant but stellar location in historic Seville. We were able to easily get back for siestas after touring and before late-night dinners.
Rooms were simple and clean - no luxury - no pretension - just a good place to stay.

The front desk was helpful with our few requsts, taxis, etc.

Good hotel security - not that you really need it for the area.

We have just recently been to Hotel Abanico and had an overall great experience.
The hotel has a very authentic andalucian style patio with tiles and glasses which makes it different from other hotels i had stayed before.
The front desk staff was really friendly and they looked happy to help.
The room was good, nothing ultramodern in terms of furniture, but was spacious, clean and had no problem with noise.
Had no breakfast included in my booking, but i found out - unfortunatyely on the last day - that coffee, tea, little cookies are available free of charge until 10pm.
Location is also perfect, everything within walking distance, and on the same street 200m right from the entrance you can find 3 great little tapas bars, good food for good price.
An other big plus, they let you leave your luggage there, if you have a late flight, so you can make the most of your last day in Sevilla.
I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.
