My friend and I spent 2 of our 4 days in Sevilla with Roger from AQOT.
Our first day began with a walk through the local market. This was followed by a cooking class with Willy from a local restaurant, Poncio. Fantastic on all counts, great morning in the kitchen and even better when we got to taste. The food was so good that we returned to Poncio for tapas on 2 more occasions.
To complete this day we did a tapas crawl with Roger in the evening. Roger's knowledge of tapas and his selection of bars was outstanding. We got to sample a great variety of delicious tapas and some wonderful wines. Didn't want it to end.
The next day we met Roger again for a day trip to beautiful Jerez. We toured 2 bodegas and Roger introduced us to the delights of sherry. Our morning in Jerez finished with lunch, yet another great choice by Roger.
In hindsight I would have loved to have had time to include Jamon tour as well. Will have to be next time.
