“Value for money - great location”

We had a bit of trouble locating the entrace to the hotel, and how to park the car in the garage, but once we were in, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was, with kitchen and living area. I would agree with other comments that things are worn, and kitchen equipment mismatched, but the facilities really served a purpose during our four night stay. The rooms were extremelly clean. The location of the hotel makes it easy to locate food and drink in the evenings.

This is an aparthotel where the rooms we had was fairly basic but perfectly liveable. It was clean and we liked the flexibility of having the kitchenette and a sofa to relax on but our room did feel a bit unloved/unwelcoming. However, the staff were always happy to help and the area around the hotel was great. I'd recommend this place if you like the idea of getting your own breakfast and maybe fixing a dinner one night and want to be in an area with good bars and cafes.Great if you're on a budget.

Our experience at Patio de la Cartuja was unfortunately coloured by our daughter being ill on the night we arrived and a torrential downpour the next morning before we left.

The hotel itself was ok, and in other circumstances we might have been perfectly happy with it. A quick list of pros and cons:

Pros:
- the price was good compared to many other hotels we looked at in Seville
- It is an aparthotel, so we got separate bedroom and living areas, which is a bonus when travelling with a small child
- It has its own parking in the basement
- The nearby square - Alameda de Hercules - had lots of cafe's and restaurants, and although pretty quiet in late afternoon, when we got out briefly later on, it looked like it it would be a lively and enjoyable place to spend an evening.

- our room had very few windows given its size - the majority of rooms were much better, we were just unlucky with the room we were given. If we'd been staying for more than one night we'd have tried to get moved to another.
- the beds were very hard
- getting to the hotel by car is a bit tricky - we'd printed off a google map showing all the one-way streets in anticipation, only to discover that the directions had all changed!

We initially thought this hotel was a little far from the centre of Seville but we were wrong. the area is great and buzzes at night with bars and restaurants. it is only a short walk to the town centre. The room is really an apartment consisting of a kitchenette, living area, bathroom and bedroom. the staff speak English and were very helpful. breakfast was included and parking as free. I would return

This hotel is a real find. The rates are in line with or less than most Seville hotels, but you get a small apartment with a living area and (limited) kitchenette and a separate bedroom.
The fixtures and fittings were reasonable - "ordinary" rather than hi-spec. The customer service was outstanding - I was stuck there for four additional days after the issues with the volcanic ash cloud and all of the receptionists did everything they could to help. A huge bonus in Seville was that the size of the rooms and the location meant that the hotel was very quiet at night. The windows were properly soundproofed - even with a rock concert going on right outside on Saturday night, I couldn't hear it when the windows were closed.
The one potential downside was the location, which is at the top end of the Alameda de Hercules. It's a pleasant 10 minute stroll to the main shopping area and about 20 minutes to the cathedral/main city centre. There are plenty of buses running nearby.

Charming Aparta Hotel. Simple , but has all modern fittings including air-con,small fitted kitchen, satellite TV. Can seem a bit austere on first arrival if you are used to conventional hotel design.
Ideal for those hot summer days as the rooms are off a central patio area shaded from the sunlight. Most rooms are very quiet even though the hotel is just off the main Alameda de Hercules.
Excellent location for Gay travellers as he hotel is only 5 minute walk from many of the gay bars.

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in October. I would definately reccomend it, the hotel itself was beatiful. It was about a miles walk into the city center but the walk itself is past shops, resaturants and cafe's. The hotel rooms are more like 1 bedroom apartments and are very spacious with seperate bedroom, bathroom and lounge area. The breakfast was basic continental but nice and the hotel itself is very quiet. Seville as a city is a must do, lovely shops, restaurants and architecture!
