Dear guest,
thank you so much for the note about us!
You stayed just one night and still found the time to write a comment: that really means that somehow we reched you! It is really a great reward to our efforts in creating high level tourism.
As you love Seville so much,
we hope you can come back anytime soon.
Davide.

We stayed in the Murillo in May 2012. We took the high speed train from Malaga to Seville. The train cost us 50 euros each and took about 2½ hours. On arrival in Seville we took a taxi from the station but as the Murillo is situated in a pedestrian only area the taxi could not take us direct to the door. However, the driver gave is instructions and we found it easily. The hotel itself was excellent. WIFI in public areas but not in the hotel room. We were given room 501, one of only two rooms on level 5. The hotel was large and bathroom good too. Small complaints were no drawers for clothes and no mirror in the bedroom, the only one being in the bathroom. There was also a roof top terrace however, the times we visited it was just too hot to sit and there were very few parasols which meant many residents didn't stay for a drink. Breakfast was served until 10.30 am and consisted of a combination of continental and english. We did a river cruise from Torre Del Oro up Guadalquivar river although there was very little to see but the breeze and the relaxation was enjoyable. There are hundreds of bars, cafes and restaurants in and round the tiny streets of Seville. An exceptionally good hotel in a superb location for exploring the city.

Room Tip: We were very pleased with out room on the fifth floor, one of only two.

We had booked a double with a roll out bed, but since it was available, they installed us in one of their apartments (they have 3 locations in and around the city center). The apartment they provided for us was with a balcony facing the Alcazar and from the balcony on the left the cathedral. The apartment was spacious with a kitchen and refrigerator, a small living room (a couch and an ottoman), a very spacious bedroom with a queen size bed and a humongous bathroom. I give the hotel a very high score given that the location was fantastic, the view gorgeous of two World Heritage Sites (especially at night), very clean and as my daughter explained "that this is the bestest hotel".

It's a beautiful structure with comfortable rooms, right in the centre of Seville. The reception has lovely ancient furniture. Everything looks cured and fine. Breakfast is very good (even "cafe solo", and I'm Italian!). Don't forget to have a cerveza upstairs in the hotel's terraza. There's a wonderful landscaspe on the Giralda.
