“good hotel, great location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013

This is a good hotel for the price. The rooms very fairly spacious, and the location is great. Very central to everything. The reception staff speaks excellent English and were very helpful and gave great suggestions for restaurants.

The two biggest issues I had with the place were 1) the wifi did not work the entire time we were there. Even when they told us it was fixed and gave us the password, neither of us could connect our devices. We've been going online to research places to go and eat and do travel arrangements, so this was sort of a bummer. Also, 2) our room was on the ground floor next to the elevator and had no window. This made for a dark and somewhat claustrophobic feel to the room. Without an alarm clock we would have slept in very late, as the room sans lights is completely pitch black.

Other than that, the place is pretty nice. The breakfast is free if you book online directly from their website. However you might have to remind them of this, as they initially told us our reservation didn't include breakfast. The breakfast spread is quite good, it has all of the typical continental items (breads, yogurt, cereal, fruit), some cheeses and meats, plus a few hot items (mini Spanish omelets, little sausages, and some hot baked bean dish that was quite tasty). You can also get coffee and tea all day, and try some orange wine.

Room Tip: don't get a room on the ground floor.

Inexpensive basic rooms in very very clean premises. Excellent friendly staff were helpful. Street out front can get noisy at night, but no big problem. Breakfast was basic but priced right. Excellent value.

We were able to get a private ensuite for a really good price. The staff was extremely helpful, they helped us with everything we asked for and gave some great tips about the best places to visit/restaurants, they were really sympathetic. Everything was clean and the location was excellent.

Lovely little hotel within a mile or two of all the best sights. Very helpful staff. very good breakfast. Snacks, plus coffee and tea available all day in the cozy breakfast room Computer available. Breakfast was 5.5 euros daily. Clean, spacious room (we had) with a little terrace outside. It's on the 3rd floor; highly recommend it.

I echo all of the positive comments the previous reviews. There is a convenient small supermarket across the street for snacks etc. and nice little bakery about a block away on your way to the cathedral area. The breakfast was included for us with the PLUS internet booking and that made it very reasonable and it's a good little buffet. You are about a 15-20 minute walk to the cathedral area and there are two excellent museums a few blocks away (Palacio de la Condesa de Lebrija, and Antiquarium de Sevilla). The hotel gave us two excellent and reasonably priced restaurant recommendations within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. My ONLY disappointment was the dreadfully slow WIFI service even while seated under the zone. They are aware of this problem and I was told they are looking for another provider. I would definitely stay here again. The place is spotless, the rooms are ample (we had our own patio), the staff are super, the breakfast was a deal, and the location is convenient.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the patio. Consider the PLUS room option.

A jewel of a hotel, self-styled as a B&B, but a delightful place to stay. A great value, and near to some really good restaurants! We arrived late and tired, but the reception was welcoming and very friendly. Every question was answered promptly and accurately, and my poor attempts at Spanish seemed to be appreciated more than tolerated by the multilingual staff.
