Loved to be back here. V central, wonderful classic old-style Andalucian hotel with big old-fashioned rooms round lovely central covered courtyard. Friendly staff with good English for us poor Spanish speakers. Carparking good once you find it, but as usual it's a bit of a nightmare negotiating all the one-way streets to find the hotel in the first place. Room a bit noisy at night (we had a lovely triple at the front overlooking the main street), but on the other hand it gives a great chance to people-watch & it's perfect being 150 metres only from the Giralda. V strongly recommend it and we'll come here again (& again)...

We stayed here for three nights in July with our family of four. The family room consisted of a foyer, a nice bathroom and two decent sized bedrooms - each with a small balcony. It was very reasonably priced for the size of the room. And the location was great. The staff was helpful as well. Not fancy, but old-fashioned and charming.

Unbelievable location, close to the cathedral and university. Great value hotel with loads of character. Efficient staff. Rooms are basic, but good value.

Says it,s lovely-in an old Sevillian mansion stuffed with antiques-but that really is the only good bit about it! Rooms are small, bathrooms even smaller! Noisy, staff really couldn't care less,Didn't try breakfast but then neither did anyone else!!A few paces from the centre which may attract some but wouldn't tempt us to go anywhere near it again. Also have a 7 day cancellation policy; says it all really!

We loved this hotel. Beautiful building, great location, friendly and very helpful staff, inexpensive. We were there during a holiday weekend (Andalusia Day--who knew?) and the street noise at night both Saturday and Sunday was significant and went on until well into the night. The windows and shutters helped, and it was so constant that it was almost like white noise, so we slept okay. Monday night it was as quiet as could be.

We stayed in this wonderful hotel in downtown Sevilla which is located about a block away from the cathedral. It is a converted historic Sevillian Palace with a beautiful central courtyard and a majestic marble staircase that takes you upstairs to the guest rooms. There is also an elevator which is convenient for hauling luggage up to the first floor. There are several large guest rooms and several small ones, we were located in a large guest room (room 219) that had a large bathroom as well. The room was very comfortable with an antique double bed, armoire and dresser. The window opened up onto an enclosed balcony.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful during our 5 day stay in Sevilla, we would certainly stay here again.

Worthwhile for the atmosphere alone, like staying in a Spanish home - or mansion, and in a great location. While the public areas are charming, my (single) room and bathroom were both cramped. For anyone who plans to spend a lot of time in the room, this may not be a good choice. But why would you stay in your room with such an inviting sitting area, and especially with lovely Seville just outside the door. I did not eat at the hotel. The prices for complete breakfast were too high, though ordering a la carte would make the cost be more reasonable. Service was a bit begrudging at times.
