The Melia Sevilla is walking distance from the city center and many local attractions. We stayed in one of the suites, which was spacious and allowed for privacy. We had a great view from our room, and enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. The hotel is beautiful and rooms are modern and very comfortable, but it was the service that impressed us the most. The staff was very friendly and dropped everything to help us figure out how to get one of our daughter's bag shipped to our final destination in Madrid. We opted for "the level" and did not regret it. The food was excellent.

This hotel offers you a choice of rooms with or without the 'level' service and so was a little bit confusing when booking as not really sure what was best. In the end we went for a standard room with a view with breakfast which was delicious.
The room was plenty big enough and bathroom was fab and all very clean. However the level service would have given us the extra faciltiies such as tea & coffee making and when asked for something we were told just to order from room service. We did this and it was fine and probably didn't work out any different price wise but its just those little things that can make a huge difference.
I've read other reviews about heat in room but we had air conditioning and an opening window so not sure why others had problems.
Pool was also very clean and perfect after a day sight seeing.. We have just come back and pool bar wasn't open till summer season???? which was a bit of a shame.
Cocktails at the bar were very reasonable compared to london prices and all in all we had a fabulous stay. Great location next to plaza espana but close enough to walk to catherdral, alcazar and main hubbub of the city. I would definitely reccommend this hotel for a short break to see the main attractions as Iocation can be key for a city break and i saw plenty that would have been way to far out.

Room Tip: Standard room have no tea/coffee facilities so if this is important make sure you choose the right r...

This was my first trip to Sevilla, and this was the perfect location for my first trip there! The hotel was well located, just walking distance to the City's sights, including the Cathedral, Giralda, Real Alcazar, and some great restaurants. We were also close to the tram, which was perfect for gaining access to other areas of the City, such as El Centro (great place for shopping and restaurants)!

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the decor was modern and funky, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the pool was a wonderful oasis in the hot Seville weather!

Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a view of the Plaza de Espana. Great views!

We have recently returned from a short break at the Melia Sevilla. Overall a good hotel, rooms well equipped with updated bathrooms, having both a separate shower and bath. We upgraded when there to a room with a terrace area at a cost of 21 euros per night. Unfortunately any planting that had been put in had long ago died off! We were also facing directly onto a residential apartment building so not the best of views.

The hotel has terraces facing pool with would have been an additional supplement, would recommend requesting those. The pool area was nice as quite hot weather so good to cool off after a day sightseeing. The only negative a lot of the seats were in disrepair but sunbeds good.

We opted to have breakfast included in our room rate, the choice was very good, with lots of fresh fruit, pastries and hot selection of food. This would normally be 14 euros extra per person per night.

The reception area is contemporary in design and has a bar offering a sandwich selection. The hotel drinks were reasonable prices except spirits which were 12 euros for a bacardi.

The hotel is well located away from the density of the centre of town, you can walk through beautiful parks into the centre which would take around 20 mins or by taxi at 5 euros. There is a taxi rank just outside hotel.

Seville is beautiful, with lots to see, set in lovely parks, the cathedral at night lit up looks spectacular. We found eating out very good value for money in comparison to Barcelona and Rome so was pleasantly surprised.

All in all a lovely short break, thanks again to our friends Ann and Trevor for a great time.

Room Tip: Pool facing terraces nicer, with better view and sun beds as well as just chairs.

Hotel situated just next to the beautiful Plaza de España and the Maria Louisa park. The hotel is 10-15minutes to the city center but you can also take a tram to the center or rent a bike. Hotel is nice, with a warm contemporary touch. Rooms have been recently renovated with a good taste. Bathroom has a bath and a separate shower. And finally, there is no bidet in the bathroom !!! Rarely seen in Spain !!! Good night sleep on a good mattress :-)
Breakfast offers a good variety of spanish products.
Sad to notice there is no complimentary tea/coffee kettle, you don't have free internet

Firstly, a huge thank you for the lovely surprise awaiting me on the return to my room. It was my birthday the day we arrived (1st May), and when we got back after an evening out, there was two bottles of chilled fizz and a plate full of wonderful chocolate and cakes, with a lovely hand written note.
The room was very plush and well fitted, lovely bathroom and fab shower. Helpful staff, very clean and lovely decor; they even had a 'pillow menu'! Nice large pool area and plenty of places to sit outside. A very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend this hotel!!
