Stayed here over night while visiting Sevilla. It has one of the best locations you can get. It is in the middle of the city and you can step out of your room and see la Giralda right there. The view from the pool bar at it was amazing as well (will say the pool bar had very strong drinks). The rooms themselves are clean and our bathroom was very nice and new. However, it is a bit stuffy and feels a bit ancient, something I am not really used to in hotels. At one point I felt like I could run into some type of ghost. Our breakfast buffet was small but there was enough to chose from. Wish they had fresh fruit. Would stay here if I was in Sevilla for a night.

We chose this hotel relying on the trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. It is located on the old town square opposite the Cathedral, close to shops and restaurants. The roof top terrace bar has a view of the Cathedral so close you almost feel you can reach out and touch it. A glass of wine before going out for dinner is a must. The original building was a mansion so the hotel has the feel of "old elegance" to it. We even had a view of the Cathedral from our room (if you lean out the window). Our room was not large, but comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: A room on the same floor as the terrace is most convenient.

We just left there and loved it! The staff is so friendly and helpful .location is absolutely perfect. The roof top pool and bar is wonderful. We could walk right out the door and be at the cathedral and alcazar quickly. Oh and did I mention the delicious breakfast ? The room was clean and well appointed. Highly recommend .

Excellent location for all historic sites, restaurants, tapas bars, shopping, etc. Beautiful lobby, breathtaking view from rooftop pool and bar. Free Wifi did not work in our room - we had to go into a main seating area outside of our room. The room (#123) was large and bathroom nice. Street level and windows right on the sidewalk so VERY LOUD. Could only sleep with ipad app of white noise. Furnishings a bit worn and dated in the room. Perhaps another room off the street would have been better.

Room Tip: Do not get #123. Street level, noisy, and Wifi did not work in the room

The hotel is ideally located on the cathedral square. The only issue, is don't bother trying to find it with your GPS, you will end up driving in circles in the old town in Seville with its narrow roads. Best, park your car on the main road from the old town and just walk for about 200 meters. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and with friendly staff.

Room Tip: All the rooms are the same, and you will only need them when sleeping as you will spending your enti...

Didn't stay here, but would definitely consider it for our next trip. We found this roof top terrace though and enjoyed a peaceful evening watching the beautiful view, high above the crowds in the square. Even if you don't stay at this hotel, make a point of going up to the terrace for drinks after the sun sets.

This was the second hotel we stayed in in Seville. Unfortunately it had us pining for the first hotel. The location of the Dona Maria is excellent in that it is right next to the cathedral and restaurants. But there are many other hotels that are only a five minute walk away from this area.

The hotel is elegant but dated; room service consists of drinks only - apart from yoghurt and a plate of sandwiches (of which there doesn't appear to be a choice, it seems to be whatever they give you). The room was moderately clean. I ordered a Sangria from the rooftop terrace but could only take a few sips as the mix was completely wrong; it tasted of raw alcohol. Breakfast was expensive and did not look appetizing. The fruit consisted of old watermelon and pineapple rings out of a can.

We stayed here for two nights. The first night it was so noisy that we barely slept. The noise comes from the rooftop terrace bar which continues into the early hours of the morning and also from the old elevator that can be heard moving up and down but also lands with a jolting thump. We stayed on the fourth floor, where the terrace is also located. It may have been quieter in the lower floors. The second night was less noisy, so it could be a hit and miss as to how many people end up on the rooftop terrace and how long they continue to party for.

The upside to this hotel was the location. Being central, it makes it very easy to get your bearings. If you get lost, you just walk towards the cathedral and the hotel is right there. The other upside was that the staff were friendly. If you want a quiet stay and a bit of luxury and atmosphere, this is not the right hotel. If you want to be amidst the nightlife and intend to stay up till the noise stops, then the location of the hotel may suit, just have breakfast elsewhere.

Room Tip: Avoid the fourth floor
