“Great hotel”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

We just stayed in this hotel. Walls were not thin (like other European hotels), cleaning/housekeeping staff was VERY nice and everything was within walking distance. The staff spoke a little English (enough to check in & out and get local info). I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: There are some rooms that are only accessible by stairs (not an elevator), remember to ask about thi...

The city was awesome ... Sights and people and food

The hotel for the price was worth it ... Very clean, very friendly service and good location

"Free" tours of the town depart from the hotel daily ... The tour is awesome and worth it and you end up giving a tip at the end

One thing to keep in mind is the parking lot is tight

Back again and the same excellent welcome, efficiency, helpfulness, as well as good location and clean, spacious room and bathroom. The underground parking is very safe and the hotel is easy to find on entering the city.

Definitely our Seville hotel of choice.

Great location very convenient for touring on foot . Staff gave us very helpful recommendation on sights and places to be seen . Room accommodation very decent may be too much plastic wrapping on toiletries . Certainly we paid high price it being the holy week (€.250 for the room) and ask for a late check out at extra charge
of €.10(acceptable) .
Good breakfast buffet
pleasantly accompanied by young guitar player. Decent choice

We stayed at the Hotel Becquer in Room 325, which was a very large double room. There were two very wide single beds with a wooden headboard and matching side tables with wall lamps on either side. Above the bed was a large framed print of fruit trees and birds. The room was very big and had two large windows, which had flower print curtains and a blackout curtain behind it. The floor was made of wood parquet. At one end of the room was a glass-top writing table with a Parsons style chair. There was a large mirror over the desk. At one corner there was a small wood table with a glass top, and beside this table were two side chairs. The room was about 24 square meters, so there was plenty of space. We had a street view.

There was a cabinet that contained the minibar. Above this was a large flat TV. There was a luggage rack with a framed print over it showing an arbor with flowers. There was a large closet that contained the mini-safe. The bathroom was quite large and had marble on the floor and sides of the room. There was a toilet and bidet, as well as a bathtub/shower. The bathtub was shallow, so one could get in and out of it easily and safely. The bathroom had a window that looked to the exterior of the hotel.

So the room was very comfortable. We also parked our car in the underground lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is very good and we were able to walk to and from the Alcazar and Cathedral from the hotel.

We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The restaurant is decorated with figures of swallows and there is music of birds chirping. The food was very good and the bread was delicious, with several types of bread. The breakfast sweets were also very good. The ham was delicious. There were also many types of fruit available.

Across the street there is the restaurant called El Cairo, which is a very good restaurant.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is terrific. A nice buffet and white-clothed tables with attentive and friendly service. The rooms are in good shape, as are the common areas of the hotel.
