“Very good hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013 via mobile

Easy access by car and invaluable valet parking service - this is a must in Sevilla. Conveniently located within walking distance of the Catedral and Alcazar. Friendly and professional staff at reception. Large comfortable rooms with good bathrooms. Great roof terrace and swimming pool with a view! Elegant dining room and excellent breakfast menu with a great choice. Only negative that the (free) hotel wifi is patchy and can be very slow at times.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great free walking tour, very nice and retreating rooftop pool and bar. Did not have breakfast, it is overpriced comparing to the nearest cafes. The room and bathroom are clean and nice, but on the small side. A Plus is a tea/coffee in the room.
We did not have bathrobes as was described in room amenities.
We did have free SPA, but only for 40 min. We did not understand how we can enjoy 7 different SPA amenities for 5 min each? Better to pay extra and have extra time and not checking the time every other minute.

Very well placed for all the major attractions. Great breakfast buffet in lovely reception room. Friendly staff and free city walking tours. Rooms are a bit on the dull side with many only looking into the lightwell. Make sure you ask for bathrobes and take advantage of the Sauna

The hotel was modern and up to date, with helpful front desk. Location on edge of old city center made for convenient walking to tourist attractions. Given hot weather during our stay (late Sept), we enjoyed retreating to the rooftop to cool off in the nice plunge pool and have a cold drink at the bar when tired out from touring. My quibbles with the hotel are annoying loud background "music" of bird calls in the dining room at breakfast and the difficulty getting wait staff to bring coffee.

This hotel is used a lot by English speakers and by tour groups and is about 20 mins walk from the Cathedral and Alcazar. It is a long way from the train station so it is best to take a taxi (€17). Rooms are comparatively small and painted a brick red, which can be claustrophobic. The bathroom has bath and shower over. Plus points are tea/coffee in room, large lounge, although seats are too long in upper leg, but a useful place to sit as there is no easy chair in the bedroom. To watch TV in the room would require moving the two upright chairs or using the bed. Our "standard room" had two single beds pushed together which I did not prefer. Breakfast was good with varied hot and cold dishes.
Minus points: On Sunday, there was no evening food available anywhere in the hotel or in the (closed) "Pick and Stay"cafe belonging to and adjacent to the hotel. It is open on weekdays. Be aware that if you want food on a Sunday evening, especially if you prefer, or need, to eat before 8pm (eg for health reasons), you will be hard put to it to find anything. The "Cairo" restaurant over the road is expensive and we were put off by seeing cutlery dropped on the ground and then put back immediately on the table (outside). Nearby everywhere else was serving ice cream or cakes to hordes of tourists. We eventually had an indifferent paella opposite the Cathedral...quite a walk for supper when you have had a tiring day! However, when a tour group is in the hotel the kitchen can produce a three course + meal/welcome dinner. (As a result the lounge was very noisy!).
The hotel guest computers were abyssmal..one not working and the other very slow and unreliable, seemingly from lack of maintenance, typified by long out-of-date anti-virus programs. A hotel of this size ought to be able to offer better than this!
We debated about 3* or 4* and decided on 3* because of the lack of evening meals and the poor internet, given that this is rated a topclass hotel.

Hotel is situated well for exploring the sights of Seville.
Many Restaurants & bars within walking distance.
Excellent Flamenco Shows within easy walking
Hotel rooms are large with good bathroom, TV and free WI-FI,
Taxis are so reasonable, there is no need to take the Hop on Hop off poorly narrated tours.

The room was a bit dark with a view of a brick wall from the window but the bathroom and shower was lovely. You dont come to seville to sit in a hotel room.....the rooftop pool and bar were alot better than the photos look. If you get there before 3pm you are guaranteed a sunbed. Pool lovely and hever too busy during our stay in september the views are amazing.
Only about 15 minutes leisurely walk to the main attractions. Lots of good restaurants within 5 minutes.
Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Room 612 was a big room. Quite dark but an amazing bathroom and shower.
