I was on a school trip traveling Spain from Canada, We got to the hotel late at night but it still looked really nice from the outside. Once we got to our rooms the doors would not open, there just keys and are very very hard to open, once in the room they smelled nasty, there was NO hot water and the bathtub had stuff coming back up. My bed had blood on the sheets and a friend had hair all over the bed, and i cant forget the bugs everwhere, big ones! This hotel was the worst hotel i have ever seen or been too, Bad food, bad room, nice country. Trust me on this DO NOT STAY HERE, i was with 40 other people in 25 of the rooms and everyone hated this place, DO NOT STAY.

Stayed here for 3 days in September and while there was nothing very wrong with this hotel the overall package was lacking in certain areas. The first thing we noticed when entering the room (apart from the poor lighting which made it difficult to even read), was the funny smell. At first we thought it was from the bathroom but I don't think it was. Our room had a connecting door which was locked but we could hear every sound from next door. There was also a lot of noise upstairs and throughout the night we could hear people coming and going and suitcases being dragged up and down stairs.
My other concern was the swimming pool which was far from clean. On more than one occasion I found leaves, a dead wasp and even a cockroach floating on the surface. After our initial 3 days here we spent a week in Cadiz, and on our return for a final day before returning home I again saw a cockroach in the pool, whether it was the same one as before I'm not sure.
This hotel is located about 15km from Seville so a car is recommended as there's not much else to do in the vicinity

We stayed here for one Friday night before travelling on to Portugal. We wanted somewhere relaxed and inexpensive where our children could let off steam in a pool and we could all get a good nights sleep. In that respect I could not fault this hotel. We were given a very quite room overlooking fields (I would imagine the rooms overlooking the bar area and pool might be quite noisy at night) and after leaving a deposit for the remote controller the air conditioning worked fine. We stayed for the evening meal at the hotel which was a buffet, not fantastic but enough choice to keep everyone happy and you could always go back for more (and the bottle of local red wine was welcome). Breakfast was also a buffet but I was very surprised at the range and amount available - which was continuously replenished even though it was after 10 am. I would not hesitate in going back to this hotel if we were passing through again - generous rooms with air conditioning, buffet evening meal, wine, buffet breakfast all for four people, use of a nice sized pool and children's play area, free wireless internet in the main building all for about €120 - you can't complain!

We wanted a relatively inexpensive hotel accessible to Seville and Carmona to visit family. We booked Hotel de la Reina through a hotel booking website. I was a little unsure about the motel type appearance (the rooms are separate but very close to the main hotel building) but it worked perfectly.
The room was very spacious with air con - also perfect in 38c heat. The swimming pool and bar are close by. The staff were helpful, happy and charming. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked and we enjoyed an evening meal from their 'a la carte' bbq menu by the pool. Although a chain, JM Hotels (in Torre de la Reina, no experience of their other hotels) manages a professional personal service and would recommend a stay. Seville itself, wonderful place, is noisy all night... if you're adjusting to Andulucian culture, it's nice to have a break from Seville at night :)
