Family of 4 two adults two teenage girls stayed for 12 nights. Fairly central location, we waked everywhere without trouble. Generously sized airy rooms with double bed TV and bathroom leading via spiral stair to room upstairs again with TV and bathroom. Window opens onto square echo-ey courtyard which also traps cigarette smoke especially with the sun shades closed but double glazed window shuts out most noise and smell. Aircon effective if a little noisy. Hotel's own WiFi erratic but take your laptop to the lobby and connect to jazztel, which is much quicker. Rooms v. clean and well cleaned every day, staff lovely and helpful. Passenger lift has mind of its own. Car parking 12E/day but don't take a car and expect to be able to use it in central Seville. No pool and nearest pool we could find was a metro ride away north to the Olympic Club 40.50E for 3 people for an outdoor swim, but we could stay all day, Lots of bars cashpoints and a little supermarket close by, try Alcoy 10 for great tapas, Good value base in fantastic city. Would happily return.

Very nice hotel, clean and quite: my single room was a little bit tiny but for 1 person it's ok. Very close to the centre of Sevilla and quite area. Recommended.

Stayed at this hotel with my husband and 14 year old daughter in July 2011. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, reasonable, and in walking distance to restaurants and shops. The hotel staff members are very friendly and accommodating.

We had a rental car and tried to navigate the small streets (many one-way and others pedestrian only) to find this beautifully restored and converted mansion. Don't rely on your GPS because there is some new construction and changes in streets (from two-way to one-way).

After driving around for an hour, my husband parked on a side street, while I walked to find the hotel and ask for directions. In her best English, the hotel clerk directed me to the car park (which was 11 Euro per day). Even with directions, it was like navigating a maze. Fortunately it was Sunday, so the streets were not over populated with pedestrians and other cars.

If you are up for the challenge of finding this hotel, then you will not be disappointed with the beauty and comfort of your accommodations!

our room smelled of smoke when we checked and the fairly attentive staff gave us new room right away. i was sick after we checked out and we missed our train to return to madrid and they did not charge me extra for staying in the room to rest before our later train trip. the rooms are well appointed but the hotel amenities and carpeting need renovation. also, it is far from the main sites downtown seville. okay value for budget travellers.

Nice, fairly standard mid-range hotel at a reasonable price. Bedrooms are on the small side but the bathrooms seemed generous. Beds, bedding and pillows were fine. Rooms were air-conditioned, fitted with a well stocked mini-bar, TV, phone, and free safe. Décor, cleanliness and housekeeping were all fine during our stay. Reception staff were particularly helpful, infact all the staff we encountered throughout the hotel during our stay were polite and professional. Wi-fi was free and worked fine for us on our iphone’s throughout the hotel. There was also a PC available for guests to use in reception. Luggage could be stored at the hotel for free after checkout time, useful as our return flight to the UK was late on the evening.

We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel at all during our stay, preferring to eat breakfast with the locals, at any of the numerous bars and cafes on the short walk into the centre of Seville (15 minutes).

Don’t expect much of a view, the hotel is located in an older part of the city with narrow one way streets, and rooms tend to overlook internal courtyards. Sound insulation between rooms in the hotel was on the poor side, and this might cause some problems for light sleepers, particularly if you want a siesta. I wear earplugs when I sleep - so it didn’t bother me at all. I’d stay there again without hesitation.

I booked late and so, couldn't get my first choice hotels .. I would recommend another hotel if you can get the same price for it.

The pluses: It had a nice comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We requested a quiet room and got one. The internet worked perfectly. Sheila and Sandra at reception were great. It is located in a 'real' and lovely neighbourhood, away from the tourist mobs and we enjoyed being local.

The minusses: The hotel is shabby and needs a makeover: the aircon in our bedroom smelt, the automatic plugs in the sink and bathtub didn't work and we had to remove them to let the water flow. We were put in a duplex, with a living room downstairs and bedroom upstairs, which, as a concept didn't make sense as we left our big bulky suitcase downstairs. and so, had to keep going up and down whenever we needed something. It was too far to walk back from the town centre after a long day of sightseeing on foot.

Several factors contributed to my poor rating of this hotel. Our room there was the worst we had on our two-week vacation. The "window" opened into the interior, covered courtyard that doubles as the dining room. It was incredibly noisy starting at 7am and, needless to say, we could not open our window. Additionally, the AC didn't work very well and so with no AC or fresh air it was extremely stuff in our room. Another major design flaw was the "marble" floors in the hallways because you could hear people walking up and down the hallway at all hours. Don't let the pictures fool you, they make this hotel look fairly decent and they are deceiving. It is shabby and outdated. To sum up: our tiny room was loud, stuff and hot. Finally, the location is pretty terrible - its a long walk to anything of interest.
