Seville is fantastic but this hotel does not get a recommendation from me. It is located in a very touristy part of Seville within a short walk of the Cathedral and the Alcazar. There are lots of bars and cafés on its doorstep.
The room I stayed in was small and dark but clean. The floors throughout the hotel are marble (or marble type) which facilitate the most extraordinary sound travel I have ever come across in a public building. This is coupled with the consistent hellish noise of chairs and beds being scrapped and shoved along the floor. The bedroom walls are like paper. The housekeeping personnel have obviously got use to this on-going racket and make no effort to reduce the sound as they go about their duties. Just to be clear the noise in this hotel in generated inside the hotel and is not emanating from the numerous bars and cafes close by.
Two other big negatives; firstly the reception/front desk staff are decidedly unfriendly and secondly whilst the hotel does have and boast Wi-Fi the quality of the connection is very poor.
I paid €399.00for three nights-rooms only. Go Seville but don’t stay here!!More
