The Hotel Inglaterra has a great location and our room was fine. We stayed five nights and I was happy with the breakfast buffet and pretty happy with other meals, too. However, I was VERY unhappy with the policy of offering free wifi in the public areas only, and then only connecting with the Web--no apps permitted. The hotel staff had to spend a lot of time answering wifi questions, and that could make anyone cranky! Whatever money the hotel is making by selling web access in rooms is probably far outweighed by the loss of time, energy, and goodwill that stems from the present practice.

This was a charming, centrally located hotel. Their only problem is the lack of wi-fi. They promote themselves as having free wi-fi, but that is only in the lobby and is not a very good connection. You must pay extra for wi-fi in the rooms.

The hotel is nice, well located, walking distance to the entire city. It has a great rooftop view with overpriced cocktails. Skipped breakfast for the same reason. Just keep in mind, nothing opens for breakfast in Seville until 8.30AM. The room was well appointed, the hotel has a historic ambience but it offers the worst WiFi service of any hotel I have used the past few years.

Unable to log in for a few days the staff arrogantly told me that I should pay for WiFi if I expect good reception after all they are already doing us guests a favor providing free WiFi in the lobby.

Would I stay again ? I do not think so.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony or find another hotel where the staff really appreciates your business.

Superb location close to the major attractions. It can be a bit noisy at night in front of the hotel due to street cleaning or in our case setting up large portacabins for a forthcoming fiesta. We didn't have overpriced hotel breakfast but used adjoining cafe/pastry shop where you can get a coffee and couple of croissants for just few euros. It is the rooftop terrace that is the highlight, the drinks may be bit pricey but the view of the cathedral more than makes up for this, especially at night. If travelling by train get off the station before Santa Justa if you can,San Bernado and get on the tram next ot the station.Take it from this end terminus to the other end teminus,Plaza Nueva and the Hotel Inglaterra is 50m in front of you, easy and less than one and half euros.

Room Tip: The higher rooms are probably quieter as we were on the 1st floor.
