Stayed here in August and got a great deal. The hotel is very nice, but would say it is a 4 star not 5. The pool area was nice, free pool towels and sun loungers usually available. Definitely appreciated escaping to the pool after the sights on a hot day. The pool side bar food was suprisingly good but expensive. Breakfast was fab. Had dinner in the outside restaurant on one evening and it was very nice. One main drawback of the hotel is food and drinks are quite expensive and we couldn't find a supermarket close by though we may have been looking in the wrong places. The walk to the town centre is about 35 mins but taxi's are cheap. It was usually 5 euro and sometimes as low as 3.30 depending on traffic. Taxi to the airport was 24 euro but we got ripped off on the way to the hotel with the driver charging 39euro when it shouldn't be more than 24 for 2 people and luggage (we should have agreed the price before moving). There are also 2 bus services that run into the centre from close by the hotel. The staff were all nice but most, other than those on reception, did not speak any english but this was no problem. Cleaning staff knock on the door early (9ish) and they keep knocking until you physically open the door and say no thanks even if you shout no thank you in spanish repeatedly! but this can be solved easily with the do not disturb signs. On the whole I would happily stay here again if I return to Seville.
