Walk around 34 ramps to the top and you will see lots of tourists crowded there to see the view of the city from the top.Beautiful scenery but too crowded.

The Cathedral is one of the biggest in Europe with around 80 chapels within it!!!
You will find within it the tomb of Christopher Columbus, a museum of treasures and very grandiose architecture from the 15th century. It is amazing to see the wood- work that is 700 years old and looks as good as this! The Tower which is a gentle climb provides stunning views of Seville. A visit to Giralda is a must while in Sevile.

Loved this tower - the views from the top were just stunning. Only 17 steps right at the top - the rest of it is short ramps - 35 of them - I was fully prepared for this to be a tough climb but it is surprisingly easy. If it's the height of summer it could get a bit crowded on the climb up or down but stick with it. Be aware that the bells will chime every 15 minutes! We were there on a quarter hour and it didn't last long but did give everyone a shock!

I'm not usually a tower climber but when we were told this tower didn't have steps, but ramps, I was "a go!" It still took a while but was definitely easier than climbing steps AND there were things to look at as you were ascending. Of course the views along the way up we're great, but the one at the top made it all worth while and then some! Go. Enjoy!

Instead of steps there is a ramped incline to the bell tower which makes for an easier climb. At the bell level there are excellent views from all four sides over the city of Seville. Make a note of the time so the bell tolls don't take you by surprise once at the top!
