Beautiful hotel with courtyard for meals. Fabulous location, great to have a pool after a day of sightseeing. We used hotel as our base and visited Granada (the Alhambra) from there. Service was impeccable. Rooms & bathrooms spacious. True flavor of Seville!

I loved the neomudajar style design within and without. The hotel is steeped in history in a historic city and located in the heart of the historic and sightseeing center of Seville. Despite the period style, there is every modern convenience. The pool is a bonus and there were plenty of chaises, towels, etc. The staff is extremely responsive as is the typical Starwood staff experience we have come to expect with the chain. We did not have breakfast included with our reservation so complimentary coffee would have been nice, especially after the false fire alarm at 5 am. But overall a great experience.

I stayed here for four nights on my first trip to sevilla and absolutely loved it. The architectural details were beautiful and the hotel staff was overly welcoming and helpful.

We went to "Picnic Night" at Ena our first night there and weren't sure what to expect. The food was EXCELLENT. Turns out that we had been to one of the chef's other restaurants in Barcelona the week before, and it was a treat to try more of his dishes. I think the event is every Thursday night - if you are there, I definitely recommend it. For 20 euro it included two drinks, some tapas, and a three course meal. The value couldn't be beat and it was a great time.

The breakfast was wonderful and had many options. Our room was beautiful and spacious. Lastly, the location can't be beat.

The Alfonso XIII hotel is old charm, magnificent rooms and a palatial setting, but service could improve.

We had a suite with views to the cathedral and La Giralda and you felt you were right in Seville. The 100 year old building is just magnificent. Front desk was adequate, although it kept getting busy, so be prepared for some waiting time. There is not a distinctive concierge service while we were there, so the front staff doubled as concierges. Do they have enough people for a 5 star grand Luxe hotel? A bit surprising.

Room service was prompt and correct. The swimming pool is large enough and with a bar service, however there were never enough employees attending and you ended up looking for towels and having to go to the bar for drinks as they never came around to ask, or even look at guests to see if anyone needed anything. Is this part of the cuts due to the crisis? The place looked full, so not sure why this oversight.

The room itself was nicely appointed, superb bathroom , great "heavingly bed" (Starwood chain has the best mattresses in the business, in my opinion) and all digital amenities, including electronic blinds. A nice touch.

I would go back, but I would hope they look at some of the service issues to make a stay truly memorable.

As an SPG luxury property it was easy to book this property and expect perfection, and that is what was delivered. The old Spanish / Moorish architecture, tiling, furniture, leather goods, linen, and bedroom lighting was enough to stay in each night, but Seville needs you to see it! Stay here, enjoy the first class amenities and property. Fran Roldan and Stepjanie Derdeyn made each morning awesome with their friendly conversation as I enjoyed a 5 star buffet in courtyard. This can't be missed. The location is stellar, and Seville is easy to walk, no needs for a taxi, but you could try the carriage ride, this city has a multitude of horse/carriage rides and it's a fun experience. Thank you Alfonso XIII Hotel, this is the exact location I plan to return to next time I need to experience perfection. Also, I need to give a huge thanks to Ronoldo, the Concierge, who helped me greatly when I arrived on Fri Aug 29, his vital info and hand written instructions on the city map, made everything better when I left the property. THANK YOU RONOLDO! See him when you visit, amazing guy and so nice! Thank you! (oh, the pool, great service, interesting way of presenting the menu each day to each guest, lush surroundings, a quiet oasis, pure heaven).

Room Tip: Go for Floor 3, top. The mood lighting in the rooms is very nice, helps you wind down from a busy da...

When looking at hotels in Seville we quickly found this SPG Luxury Collection property and booked immediately. As a Platinum member, I was given a lovely suite upgrade upon check in. We checked in around 8pm (FYI: We had a very hard time finding the main entrance to the hotel and parking - our GPS was not updated with street changes, unfortunately). We parked our car in the closest car park we could find and walked to the hotel where we were greeted by half a dozen smiling hotel employees. We mentioned our issues with parking and without missing a beat one of the valets took our keys and moved our car to the hotel's parking facility (we didn't even pay for parking at the third party's parking garage).

We were escorted to our room by a front desk trainee - who seemed very nervous, but she knew what she was talking about. She was so helpful and gave us great recommendations for food (both "official" recommendations and places that she and her colleagues go for tapas after work -- we went with the latter).

She escorted us to our suite on the third floor - which was absolutely stunning. Impeccably clean and well appointed. While we didn't really need a suite since there were only two of us and we were in town to explore the City not hang out in the hotel, it was nice to have a larger space for our base of operations.

We ate breakfast (which was included as a Platinum member) in the hotel each of our 3 mornings at the property. The breakfast spread was very large by European standards (while nice, they have nothing on the Asian hotel breakfast buffets) with fresh OJ and a wide assortment of meats, cheeses and pastries.

We decided to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant (made this decision before we even left on the trip) and we are very happy we did. Most nights in Spain we hit multiple tapas bars - it was nice to have a full/proper dinner. Everything at the restaurant was stellar - the food, the wine pairings, the service - even the impromptu sherry tasting after diner.

I hope I make it back to Seville soon and I will guarantee I will stay at this property again. If you are in the area you are doing yourself a major disservice if you do not stay at least one night at this beautiful hotel with top notch staff.

Kudos to all.
