in summer I would imagine this would be an excellent refuge from the Sevilla sun. In winter it was a little cold.
The sheer size is impressive and it woudl be a shame to miss it.

It was so large and it was amazing the way they had integrated the tower, instead of just knocking it down. There is so much gold and gems in the altar pieces. Wow!

Great place to visit . The entrance fee includes the giralda tower. On entry pick up a small English language guide leaflet and follow its numbered plan ,it helps explain stuff.we were lucky enough to hear the organ being played and what a haunting noise that was .
Some of the placards in certain more interesting places are also written in English. This helps.
The entrance to the courtyard is nice and picturesque but alas it was raining so we didn't enjoy the peace outside.
The tower entrance is tucked away and after finding this we were rewarded with a 37 floor gradual climb ,not stairs though.all the way up there are windows to look out of getting you ready for the final view from the top, which was amazing.the wind up top was strong but it's very secure up there.lovely views and you can see what a big city this is.
Seen it now, so wouldn't go again, but a good experience for 8euro.

We couldnt beleive how large the cathedral waas - apparently third largest in world after the Vatican and St Pauls. Lots to see with wonderful architecture. The Giralsda Tower is included in the entrance fee and climbing it makes you feel that you should be fitter- the views are terrific once you make the top though.

Nice cathedral notable mainly for Christopher Columbus' tomb. However you feel about the impact of his journey on the New World, it was interesting to see his burial place.
