We stayed in a top floor Jacuzzi room. What a pleasure going out on the top floor late in the day. The view of the city and Cathedral took our breaths away. Sat there at sunset with beer and sausage and just relaxed. Actually took over 30 pictures from the top floor. Quite the memorable vacation moment.

Location was great. Right in the middle of a great walking area and close to the bars and food.

The negative with staying in the top floor was that you heard all the noise from the area. At sunrise the carpenters start work on the house next door. Luckily sunrise wasn’t until 8am. Also, there is a church nearby that rings a bell every half hour through the night. What’s up with that?

I can put up with the noise. The room was large, the bed was excellent and location was awesome.

The Jacuzzi was great after a long day of walking. Hopefully it was private. I thought it was. It was difficult for two people to fit, but my wife and I tried. No pictures, at least that I am aware of.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of March and really enjoyed Seville , a great city to walk, sightsee and generally appreciate life. However, what made the visit really special was
the hotel, especially the staff, Irene and Alegria on the front desk . Nothing was too much trouble for them and the pleasure that they had in making our stay comfortable was way beyond anything we have experienced in other hotels. The hotel is really central for all the sights and is almost like staying in your own palace but without the formality. The housekeeper, whose name I didn't get, also deserves a mention for they way she looked after us. If you want a 5 star in Seville this is it.

Room Tip: 1 minute walk from cathedral

I was so impressed with this hotel that for the first time ever i am writing a trip advisor review! We stayed in the grand suite (room 209) I was a little worried having read the previous review about privacy on the terrace. Well i didn't need to worry i used the jacuzzi every day and felt very relaxed on our private terrace. The room was amazing very spacious and beautifully appointed, in addition everywhere in the hotel was very clean.
Staff were very welcoming, helpfull and cheerfull nothing was too much trouble.
Location is excellent everywhere within easy walking distance. Hotel very helpfull in recomending excellent restaraunt's. This hotel is a very special place and we will definitely be returning.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Casa 1800. My first trip to Spain and I was giddy with pleasure as our taxi pulled up to the hotel which was so close to the Cathedral and beautiful square. The young ladies at the desk were so friendly and helpful ( and spoke English !) even printing out driving directions for us without being asked. Room and bath were fine, hotel was quiet, and afternoon tea a pleasant treat. Be sure to check out the lovely rooftop deck. Hope to be back someday.

Set in the heart of the popular Barrio de Santa Cruz, the Hotel Casa 1800 is ideally located for the main tourist attractions and numerous tapas bars and restaurants. Amidst this buzzing area, the Casa 1800 is an oasis of calm and is very elegant. We were welcomed by very friendly staff, and we immediately felt we had made the right choice of hotel. We booked a deluxe room, which was on the top floor, with its own balcony and view of the cathedral. This was a beautiful room, quiet, and we felt well worth the extra cost. Although the cathedral bells can be heard, we did not find them intrusive at night.
There are many lovely touches to the hotel; the afternoon tea is most welcome and very enjoyable, and the breakfast is very good value - all enjoyed in the beautiful inner courtyard. There is great attention to detail, and a personal touch to all the services provided.
We found it difficult to find a top end restaurant which got started much before 9.30 pm to
10.00 pm, so we tended in the evening to eat in the local tapas bars and restaurants;
the quality of the food we found extremely good.
One of the evening highlights was the flamenco at the Casa de la Memoria in Santa Cruz; very authentic in an intimate patio setting.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Casa 1800, together with fantastic weather, (every day blue skies and mid twenties temperatures) and have every intention of returning to this wonderful hotel on our next visit to the beautiful city of Seville.
