Everything from beginning to end was wonderful. The staff were lovely and amazingly helpful. In particular, when informed that the gym was temporarily closed, we were offered a taxi ride and paid access to a local gym or a personal training session from a local personal trainer. The gym did re-open and we didn't have to take up on these lovely offers, but we were very impressed with their abilities to think of solutions. Another example was with respect to the rooftop pool, which was unfortunately closed. No problem - we could use the rooftop pool of the hotel across the road.

As for the room itself, we somehow scored the room with the largest bathroom and it was a joy to use. The bed was comfortable and we loved the extra touches - free minibar (something every hotel should offer instead of US$10 Pringle cans) including two small bottles of sangria each day and snacks. At turndown, we were served delicious biscuits from a local business.

The location was excellent - a relatively short walk (though at the height of the August heat, did sometimes seem a bit longer) to the Cathedral and Real Alcazar.

All in all, we greatly enjoyed enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend staying here.

We thank Toma & Coe (Manni) for suggesting this hotel for a weekend in Sevilla, a side trip from our weeks in Marbella. From the initial reception to the sumptuous breakfast (included, not sure if for all, but Toma & Coe arranged), this is fascinating experience. Laura, who welcomed us, took us immediately to a sit-down desk, intimate and quiet. No queue to "check-in", this is truly what "reception" means. we felt received. Laura is a gracious and beautifully spoken lady, our first impression. As the hotel was a former palace, it presents rooms insinuated and appears lovingly restored. The new section, adding room brining to 50 total, quietly represents the feel of a palace. Another important mention is that the staff are well presented in obviously comfortable but coordinated dress. Yes, a uniform, but only that they are consistent. Obviously the owner or manager cares about coordinated impression. To us, the staff appeared gracious and respectful of each other. It's proven that you can't have good client service if your team serves each other. They seemed they liked their work, their environment and each other. Bravo. And thank you Manni Coe for your arrangement.

Room Tip: Each room different, the older section keeps its original theme, though everything modern.

Rooms are very spacious and wit great bathrooms.
The hotel is located in a historical building and it is really full of charms.

This is the most overall perfect beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. It's would take too much space to write all the amazing things in this hotel. This hotel gets it right with everything. And the staff is the icing on the cake. Everyone. And I mean everyone will go out of their way for you. There are too many people to thank, from bellman to front desk, I wish I had the names of each, because they were all perfect. . They all make you feel at home in a magnificent setting. I esp want to thank front desk manager Ms María Frazon who greeted us with kindness and hospitality when we were just looking at the lobby and not guests. I am actually changing my plans in Spain so I can spend a few more days here again.

Unfortunately we just had one night to spend there...wish we could have stayed longer. Very idyllic place, beautifully restored old palace. Our room was very spacious with all amenities you need and more. Nothing was missing. When we returned from the sightseeing and dinner in the city, shortly after room service knocked on the door... I don't know how they knew we came back as we did not talk to the front desk staff. Anyway, they brought a superbe bottle of Sangria and some snacks with a hand written card from Martina, the GM. And the Sangria was not some headache stuff... it was highest quality! Fine, after drinking the bottle and after a very long day we were tired but yet I never had such a comfy bed and woke up totally relaxed. Breakfast is small but very nice and we found all we needed to start into a good day. Muchas gracias to all the staff and the GM for this wonderful experience!

Room Tip: Room 323 is great!
