We stayed in AlmaSevilla from the the 7-10 June in an Executive Suite with our 9 year old son. It is a beautiful hotel, with beautiful rooms, and beautiful service. It has old world charm, but everything inside is modern and like new. Air conditioning very good in the hot weather. We had room 101 which overlooked the courtyard and was extremely clean and spacious. The beds are amazingly comfortable so you will sleep well. As a couple of others have pointed out it's not close to the main tourist area which does have more dining options. However, there are some very traditional options close by like el rinconcillo (oldest tapas bar in spain) less than 5 mins walk away! we found out about this from our taxi driver luckily - do not miss this place if you want to try real tapas with the locals - not tourist tapas. there is a supermarket, and other shops nearby. You will need directions to find el rinconcillo - it's not obvious. We did not try the breakfast so can't comment on that. WI-FI did not have good reception in the whole room - you needed to be in a particular spot for it to work but once you figure that out it was fast and reliable. One downside, the swimming pool is tiny and not worth having - only 2m x 3m.

Very enjoyable stay thank you AlmaSevilla.

Room Tip: Ask for a room looking onto the courtyard.

This is our first visit to Seville and this hotel, and we got off to a great start from the moment we walked in. The staff is incredible, the room is modern yet lovely, and everything about this hotel radiates class and comfort. It is a bit of a walk to the main attractions in the city, but returning here after some time sight-seeing in the heat felt like walking into an oasis.....cool and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is an old palace converted into a boutique hotel, The rooms are definitively not worth the price. The hotel is set in charming area typical of Spain with its narrow road and by lanes. The drawback is there are not many dining options around and its quite a distance from the main square and Cathedral. The air conditioning in the room is very ineffective though we changed rooms during our stay. Internet is a bit slow too. Breakfast is very limited. the courtyard area is very good and ask for Remi, he took very good care of us.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing the courtyard, they have a good view

This is a beautifully refurbished hotel with magnificent common rooms and beautiful art on the walls. The room was not the basic, and yet it was quite small and oddly shaped so that we could not both be at the closet, safe, mini bar area at the same time. The pool is better described as a bathtub. The location of the hotel is somewhat remote in an unpleasant immediate neighborhood and although one might walk to the alcazar in 15 minutes it is complicated set of twists and turns that may add much more time to your walk. The breakfast is additional and quite costly. Between cabs and a grossly overpriced breakfast ($20e each) this hotel turns out not to be worth the expense. You are paying for the decor alone. Very good service and recommendations from the staff at the desk saves the day.

My wife and i stayed here last summer on our honeymoon. And, the hotel really helped to create relaxation. The setting feels like your in a sanctuary! It's a historic property with modern elements. And, the flora creates a serene setting! The staff was amazingly helpful when our flight arrived late.

All in all, it's a great place to set the tone for your stay & exploration of Sevilla!

Walking into this property can take your breathe away. It's unexpected beauty and calming atmosphere is a far cry from the bustling city only steps away. When it comes to service ask for Remi. We dined in the gardens.. comfortably lounging on overstuffed sofas. Remi help make our food and wine choices perfectly pared. Food was creative . light . tasted amazing. Even as we casually strolled into the hotel after a long day of shopping and seeing the sites, Remi seemed to know we needed a glass of wine to start the evening. It was unpreventable, however, the hotel doors are very heavy and slam easily. Throughout the first night, I woke several times to doors being closed. However, the next few nights it seemed part of the charm.
