We stumbled across this by chance - it looked nice. Opted for the cold tapas which were very tasty - a mix of Spanish and Japanese. The waitresses were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Could have spent all afternoon here...

Went here our first night and loved it. Try to get a table in the walled courtyard, it's a beautiful setting. The staff are relaxed and very warm. Food was well priced and quite good. Some lovely wines. Really worth a visit.

We were lucky to find out about this tapas restaurant by recommendation from a tour guide. Decently priced and delicious tapas! We loved the restaurant so much, we actually went twice during our five days in Sevilla... We were even debating about going there a third time. Please try the sardines tapa, it was our table favourite!

I came across Al Aljibe on my first night while wandering around and did not realise that it has been rated as one of Seville's better restaurants, so I had absolutely no preconceptions. I sat outside and attempted to order a meal but was told that orders would only be taken at 8:30pm (this is fairly typical of Seville: some places won't serve you until 9:30pm - strange for a country supposedly in recession). Anyway, it was not long to wait, so I had a glass of beer and enjoyed the view of passing people for about 15 minutes. When I could order, I chose the pork with a "secret" ingredient. I still don't know what it was, other than to observe it was something like a barbecue sauce. The pork was excellent - thin slices, pan fried and served with polenta and a bi of green stuff. The service was efficient and reasonably friendly and the prices were good for such a popular place. The pork was around 8 Euro and a little glass of beer 1.5 Euro.

Although the terrace is almost always full, because there is very few tables, this place need reservation or is worth either the wait or go eat inside. We found everybody very nice and helpful.
