I eat almost all of my meals here when I come to Sevilla. I remember every meal I have here because it is so extraordinary. Classic dishes with a contemporary touch. Off the charts delicious!!

“Fabulous lunch at La Azotea”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

We spent a week in Seville, and by far our best meal was a lunch at La Azotea. It was full when we arrived, but luckily spots openend quickly at the bar. My husband enjoyed the bartender's wine recommendations. The first dish we tried was the rice paper triangles with prawns and cream cheese. They were so good, we immediately asked for a second order. My teenage son insisted he had to get a mini cheeseburger, since he is not the most adventurous of eaters. He offered me a bite and it was fabulous. It also arrived with some excellent fries. We had a tuna special and a small beef fillet, which were also very good. The people next to us ordered a large fillet which you cook yourself on a hot plate-it looked wonderful. I think we tried about 8 different tapas, and every one of them was good. One of the owners is from San Diego and she spoke with us on the way out. She was extremely friendly and even gave us some recommendations for other restaurants to try, but none was as good as La Azotea. There are two locations, and both are pretty small, but if there is a wait for a seat, it is certainly worth it.

“Excellence in Seville”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

Absolutely lovely lunchtime meal. My wife and I went with 6 friends for a lunch time meal having tried before on a Monday when they are closed,
This time they were open and we had a fantastic time with some of the best tapas dishes we have had in Spain, Ox tail with rice, pigs cheeks, samosas stuffed with prawns and cheese, pork loin, cod with prawns in a rice soup, all orgasmic.
The place was buzzing from the getgo and at the end of it all we had a bill that was well below what we anticipated,

“Among our best meals in Sevilla”

Delicious, interesting, stylish food. We were so happy this restaurant was recommended to us. It is very popular so get there early, or expect to wait. So glad we didn't miss it.

“Marvelous food, friendly atmosphere, amazing presentation”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

What you willl eat in this cozy tapas bar, can not go wrong. After eating there, we talked about it all the time until we left Sevilla. Nothing compared the taste even in more elegant restaurants.
The way they serve the food is elegant. This tapas bar is in a small street in the old town of Sevilla not far from all the attraction. Reserve for the evening, it is a tiny place with a few tables.
Definitely the best value for the money, not expensive at all.
Walk or go by taxi, no parking space around. Definitely worths eating there, highly reccomended.
