“Excellent tapas and atmosphere”
Reviewed October 5, 2012 via mobile

On a recommendation from a local host we ate here for late night tapas. This small restaurant serves a great tapas and wine for very reasonable prices. We ordered 4 tapas a dessert and 2 wines and it was less than 40 euros. What a steal, the bar attendant was awesome and funny spoke both English and Spanish. Would definitely go back again if visiting Seville.

“Great place to enjoy Wine & Tapas - Excellent Value for Price”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

We went there on a Saturday night : the wine is good and not expensive, they have a wide variety of good cheese and spanish meat to go with...
We had a Carrillada (meat stew), very good, a Pan (like a pizza with crusty bread, black pudding and goat cheese, delicious!), some Chorizo, wine for 2 and we didn't pay much more than 20€.
Very good value for price.
Staff is also very nice and helpful.

“Find it!!!”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

Given that the Michelin starred restaurant at EME was closed we used TripAdvisor to find somewhere for dinner, boy was it worth it. Its down a strange street and could be off putting. Don't worry and make sure you are waiting when it opens. The owner/head of service helped us with the menu (we don't speak Spanish) and even stopped us over ordering.. The food was simply great, the place hypnotic with locals and foodies at home on the six tables (which is first come basis). If you want a full experience of simply building your meal around the wonderful food try sitting at the bar and do tapas.

Great value and would go again.... anytime

Excellent service & food. The place gets filled up soon, especially with locals, so get there a little early.

“Best Meal You'll Eat in Sevilla”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

After living in Spain for over a year, you get used to tapas and it takes a lot to be truly impressed and La Azotea totally blew me away. Literally everything on the menu is delicious and is beautifully presented. I particularly recommend the Tuna (Atún) and the Ox (Buey), you will not regret coming here and I wouldn't be surprised if you went back a second time! You will be sorry if you miss eating here!!
