Loved this place.
If you do not wish to leave the Sta Cruz area (i find it lovely but also touristic) this is in my opinion the best tapa-experience you can get.
You do not come here for the healthy or exquise food, you just get here to enjoy the lively chaos called tapas bar. But everything we ordered was still just right, good tapas and good price.

We managed to sit down in the corner.
You order at the bar, when the food is ready they wave a bit with their arms and sometimes other standing and eating people wave too (to get your attention) and then you grab your food.
I could sit here for hours just to watch everything.

This place feels like a local bar that serves aweseme tapas. Of course there are tourists but a lot of locals too and the bartenders treat you like a local. We ate on several occasions and so it was super crowded and we had to sort of share one spot for 2 adults and 1 child. That was OK, the food was amazing...simple but very tasty, the beer great. We went back the next day for dinner time, right before they started serving food for the evening so we were able to get a little table and order several different dishes to try. We loved them all!

At first this looks like a normal bar but it serves really good tapas for a very cheap price. Simply walk to the bar, pick 2 or 3 items from the list and enjoy. The service is amazingly quick despite the fact that it is so busy.

We ate here between tours and found it very good. Our tour guide had warned us the service could be less than desirable, but our experience was good. We had a drink and a sandwich and it was very quick, good and reasonable. Not the Four Seasons, but for a quick lunch, it was the best place we found in the area.

As most reviewers noted, this place is very close to the Cathedral on a corner. We stopped in around 1pm after several hours of touring the Catherdral. The inside is a bit small, but has a few tables. We saw tourists sitting all crammed and looking tired, while the locals were ordering on the bar (Standing). Unless you have some stamina, and are open minded, this is may not be a place to recharge after hours of touring. We went light and simple: a draft beer, and a few tapas (calamari was good). We asked for what a guy next to us were having and was good ( adobo fried fish cubes, which I was told that it's a local specialty). We ordered at the bar, and got to see the bartender/waiter in action. To order you must be persistent. The guy (or gal) is busy, moving about, and may not hear you well. Repeat several times, or wait to make eye contact. Definitely not a restaurant-like ordering style.
The price of your order is written with a chalk on the bar table itself close to where you are. No paper, no receipt. First time seeing that. We left cash rounded up to the nearest euro and left. We liked the place. Our liight lunch ( two beers, 5 tapas ) came out to be around 14 euros.
