Friendly hotel, clean and large room, good size bathroom, ideal location and great bar opposite in the square. Plenty of tapas bars, very good prices for wine and tapas all the bills were very cheap, short walk to hop on hop of tour bus, 15 minute walk to the cathedral where lots of god tapas bars

I don't want to give this place a bad review because for 50 euros a night, or thereabouts, it is great value. The location in the grander scheme of things is great - in the thick of lots of shops and cafes, just round the corner from the parasol and about 10 minutes walk from the main tourist sights in one direction and about the same from the funky Alameda district in the other. However it's precise location is also a downer (don't expect a lie in) - it fronts on to a small square which is extraordinarily noisy both first thing in the morning and into the night. Very nearby church bells also woke us with a start each morning at 9, and they then chimed again at 930, 945, 10.... etc. Despite a room on one of the upper floors the noise from the square was very prominent. I can't speak for whether rooms that don't front onto the square are any quieter. The interior of the hotel is also noisy - noises magnify, such that footsteps, doors clanging and the noise of the lift shaft echo around and could be heard prominently from our room. My husband was even kept awake by someone snoring in the next room one night. Our room was a reasonable size with nice decor. The attached bathroom was long and thin and although clean could do with modernizing - think shower curtain, and a shower hose attached high up that angles itself against the wall without being able to adjust it properly - hard to have a shower without getting your hair wet ladies! A couple of trivial annoyances that could be easily rectified include not having a bin in the main bedroom and there being no mirror in the bedroom, just the one over the bathroom sink - hard for myopic people to do their make up! There was no safe in our room. We had to leave our key with reception each time we left the building which we found odd. In summary, a good value clean hotel in a central location but don't expect peace and quiet!

Great location for restaurants, shopping and exploring. Nice to be in El Centro rather that Santa Cruise which is nice to visit but very touristy. Great staff, good beds, good heating - we stayed in December - and would stay again. Only issue was that both rooms we stayed in had a very strong smell of mold in the bathrooms.

Room Tip: One of the triples is extremely small, another is very spacious. None of the triples are at the fron...

Overall a very good hotel--well maintained rooms, large and clean. The hotel staff was very efficient and knowledgeable. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The breakfast buffet was also very good, well stocked with many different food varieties to choose from.

Really smart hotel in a great location, within a small square which houses a couple of restaurants and a church. Nicely decorated, clean rooms and ours had a great sized sun terrace, complete with furniture. A great base in which to explore a fabulous city... Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a sun terrace rather than a balcony when booking.

I spent 3 nights at Hotel Sevilla. The hotel is located in the El Centro area - just two streets away from the beginning of the shopping streets leading to the cathedral and other attractions. Perfect location because you are in the centre of Seville but you are in a "real" area rather than in a touristic area. El Centro is full of places with cafes and tapas bars. The hotel itself is situated on a lovely place (with a church, cafes and orange trees). The hotel bedrooms have been refurbished recently (the bathroom was a bit older but very clean though). Our bedroom was massive with a lovely small balcony. Hotel staff are friendly. For 85 euros, it was a very good choice.

This hotel is very well situated in the old part of Seville and is beautiful inside, but you will be lucky to get a good night’s sleep on a hot or warm night mainly because it seems that the hotel turns the air-conditioning off around 1am and there is no fan to keep the room or you cool, hard beds do not help. The rooms and shower toilet were very clean as seems typical of Spanish hotels.
Older reception staff do not speak any English and rattle off at you in Spanish knowing you cannot understand them.

Room Tip: Se if you can get one with a balcony
