Very good tapas bar and very cheap aswell! You have to try the chicken delicacy with almond sauce! The only bad thing I could say is that there is a very long waiting list so come early!

Our host recommended Coloniales as a place where you could eat a full meal for 5 euros. We tried it and loved it - returned a number of times - lunch and dinner - even became recognised as 'regulars' by the helpful and lovely staff. The tapas is served quickly and cheerfully, the variety is extensive and the flavours just great. We loved all the tenderloin tapas dishes, especially one served with a whisky sauce, and one with blue cheese sauce. A special dish that had won a first prize was Huevo sobre bizaho de boletus y vino caramelizedo (slow-cooked egg on boletus cake with caramelized wine reduction). You can't really go wrong in this place, but do put your name on the blackboard for an outside table and go inside to order and start at the bar.

The receptionist at our hotel suggested this restaurant. It was so good the first night we went to the other location our second night!! The food was amazing...you must try the T. Iberica (bread, salmerojo, ham, and quail eggs), the Manjar Blanca (chicken with bacon and an almond sauce) was to die for, and the sangria made the whole experience that much better!! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. So glad the receptionist recommended it!

A great place to eat in Seville. The food was really delicious. Very popular so I suggest you get there early and get you name written on the blackboard. We arrived at around 7.30pm and were third in the queue. By the time we sat down there were fourteen names on the blackboard! The staff are quite happy to serve drinks whilst you are waiting.. Most of the good restaurants are busy but this one was definitely worth the wait. We ate a number of really good tapas dishes, had a few gin and tonics beforehand and shared a bottle of wine. The bill was around 17 euros a head. A place I will always visit when in Seville.

My family visited Los Colonalies on a recommendation from a friend who studied abroad in Spain. We got there around 3pm and cloud tell this was clearly a popular local place. When we walked in the staff definitely could tell we weren't locals. We probably were the only Americans in the place. We asked to sit and they let us know that we were 2nd in line for a table. In the meantime the offered us drinks for our wait. We waited around 30 minutes for a table. The staff kept checking in with us to acknowledge that they knew we were waiting.

Once we sat down we ordered based on my friends recommendations. Patatas Bravas, Solomillo al Whisky, and an almond chicken dish. We got the medium size of each which was more than enough for 4 people for lunch. The food was great. The patatas bravas was the best I have ever eaten. Both meats were cooked perfectly and were delicious. I highly recommend this place.
