Stayed here for one night in a twin room. Hotel very charming and authentic, lovely moorish features and very traditional. However, also has essential modern features like air conditioning which was very much needed! Bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable and our room 201 looked over the internal courtyard and was very quiet. Breakfast basic, but fine for us including coffee, juice, toast, pastries and yoghurt. Woud definitely recommend this place, central location in the old town and great value at 55 euro for the room inclusive of breakfast.

The adventure of locating this hotel paid off for us. The front desk people were most helpful with directions to parking, maps of the city, where to get the Alhambra bus and even how much it cost. The hotel looks to have been recently updated with lots of Moorish details that made our stay special. Yes, the street is noisy at night, but this is easily overlooked because you're right in the middle of a very unique place. The breakfast is basic but good, and the restaurant meal we had here was very good. It's a quick walk to the main square and Elvira Street itself is a riot of activity and delicious ethnic food.

Room Tip: Ask for a courtyard room.

I spent there 2 nights 8 days ago. It is situated very well: just beneath the Albaicin hill and about 15 minutes walking distance from the Alhambra's Puerta de la Justicia.
The street Elvira, to be frankly, is very noisy - especially in the evenings, but it adds local colour )
And I liked the restaurant in the hotel: friendly staff (in the hotel itself too!) and tasty food!

Room Tip: I think it is better to ask for the room that is not on the sreet side - but you will lost the oport...

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days in April. Our room overlooked the street, although a bit noisy we slept well and enjoyed viewing the street life below, especially the post in the street which retracted for locals with a permit, unfortunatly frequently caused damage to the cars. Dont try driving along this street. The breakfast was fine, we ate in the restaurant also good food. Room was clean and spacious, staff were very helpful making bookings for tours.

Room Tip: if you enjoy street life ask for a front room

My husband I had a great time in Granada, loved it! and this Posada was part of it, typical Spanish. The bed in the room was super cozy, the room is small but it's clean and modern and has a big bathroom, it had 2 balconies looking outside. It's in a noisy street but we didn't mind because it was very fun hearing everything outside, you can also choose a quieter room looking at an inside patio, it had a free breakfast and great price too. You can't go wrong with this one and we will definitely be back.

For a short stay in Granada this hotel makes a handy base.
Town Centre location close to shops, cathedral and back streets to explore, it is situated in a pedestrian only road at the rear (main entrance) and has comfy clean rooms with character and great showers. Public car park 2 mins away, shuttle bus to Alhambra 3 mins away.
Continental Breakfast included in the price made it great value.

Room Tip: Our rooms were 4th floor so above street level noise.

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. We had an excellent room. It was quite spacious with plenty of room for suitcases etc. The bedroom had an interesting ceiling with Andalusian style painting on one half and patterned wooden construction on the rest. The bathroom was perfectly adequate. Outside the front door of the bedroom was an open air gallery that overlooked the courtyard.

It could be a little noisy at night (to mid-night) if there was a noisy party taking dinner. We could have reduced the effect if we had closed the double glazed windows. However, we prefer not to use air conditioning so kept the windows open and so were more aware of the noise. So we caused part of the problem and, in any case, it was all over by mid-night.

The hotel was very friendly and well cared for. The restaurant provided a very decent meal either menu of the day or a la carte.

There has been some criticsm of the breakfast. It was a typical Spanish breakfast, so no English fry-up. But what's the beef? This is Spain, not Blackpool! If you are looking for a hotel in the heart of Granada, in walking distance of the Alhambra, the Albayzin and the Cathedral then it would be difficult to do better at the price.
