The hotel is charming with a small court yard in the middle to which all the rooms open. Our room was very clean and I can't think of how the service could have been better. The breakfast was modest but quite good.

Great place--definitely recommend it.

Prior reviewers have said it all:

- absolutely beautiful hotel
- clean, perfectly-appointed rooms and bathrooms
- rooms were unusually large for Spain
- amazing location in the heart of the old city in Grenada
- easy to get around Grenada and to/from the airport the 31, 32 and airport buses
- very close to great restaurants and shops
- late check-in and storage were easy
- quiet nights
- nice buffet breakfast

I wouldn't want to drive a car to the hotel; I'd recommend using public transportation.

This hotel is located in the Albaycin, which is an older, Moorish section of Granada. I didn't know it when I booked, but I think it's a great neighborhood from which to base your Granada trip. The Albaycin is older, with narrow cobblestone streets and very few hotels. With a bus stop right outside the front door (20 minutes to the Alhambra), it makes a fantastic starting point for exploring the city. It's much nicer than being down in the hustle and bustle of the central part of town. The rooms have character and surround a nice inner courtyard. If you book early, you can ask for a hotel with an outside view. There weren't any available when we stayed, but the courtyard view was very nice (and quiet) too. This hotel is clearly family-run, and its owners take great care in keeping the hotel clean and welcoming. There is a very comfortable lobby/living room area where we spent a lot of time, prepared our picnic dinners, and even used the hotel laptop. The host is great too - she provided us with all kinds of advice for daytrips and even called the bus company for us to reserve tickets! The high ratings on tripadvisor are well-deserved.

Location is superb for exploring the Albaycin, staff are very helpful and friendly, rooms are delightful and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel arranged our tour of the Alhambra as well as arranging dinner reservations, all without a hitch. Recommend the tower room as waking up to views of the Alhambra is something special.

As you drive around these steep and narrow streets you start to wonder what have I done? Then, there it is and all is fine. You enter a lovely boutique hotel that is completely filled with charm and ambiance. It is calm, spotless and quiet. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the owners are sweet and helpful. The breakfast (included) is enough to get you through the day. The two nights spent here were terrific. One the most fun things to do is taking the little van around the streets. It is just like a ride in Disneyland except that the history is real! It stops right outside. There is also internet for your use. Loved this place.!

Room Tip: You don't want to be in the lobby room.
